POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

🚨I listened to this song on repeat yesterday and was in awe.
The way the universe puts things together.

🚨I was working on my father’s obituary for his service that was gonna be held July 19th. (We believe in allowing the family some time to grieve, so decisions aren’t made in haste.)

It’s about midnight, My sister @mizkorona gives me a call and says “I’m working on this project as a tribute for my mother. I have this track from @tallblackguyproductions -I want you to get on the song with me.”

Her mother had just passed 3 days after my kids dad and 8 days before my dad. So we were all feeling the thunder of emptiness.

I told her I was working on Lee’s obituary and I would take a listen soon. I opened the track, took a listen, grabbed my phone so I could record whatever came out.
It was like there weee no words for these waves of endless emotions and the notes you hear that starts the song out flowed out just how I was feeling. Like there was a pain in my stomach and I was trying to breathe and push it out so it would go away.

I wrote the hook in 30 seconds. It was like I conveyed everything that we were all going thru at the same time.

Later on in the week, @mizkorona came by and we played the song on the loud speaker, my sun @big._chak comes up stairs, vibes to the track, said “I have something for that.” Wrote a spoken word portion for the song in like 5 minutes. He came back upstairs, recited it for Korona and his view point on the present situation sealed the deal. She loved it……..

We present to you BREEZE.

Dear Mom, I know this tribute song and album may seem heavy to some. But creating this project was my way to cope with the reality that you’re no longer here.

A few might listen, and some may support and buy it but as long as your spirit is happy and proud of this labor of love I’ve done my job.

Heavenly FATHA! All I can do is laugh. I was told the other day we act just alike! Actually I’m told that everyday! I want to make sure she knows everything I know, multiplied by infinity….. Her Brother beat a Russian Grand Master at 15, let’s see if we can get her there a little sooner.

This guy right here!

Is the funniest, driest, coolest, most intelligent young man I know!!

Today, the 15th of February, he is 16 years old. I'm tripping a lil bit. 🥹

He's been ten toes down since he came out of the womb and he's been there with me the whole time. He taught me the meaning of the word Love and accountability. I am so so thankful for this child.

Watching him grow up is an understatement.

The Blooming Effect is beyond what this planet can calculate!

I love you dude ALWAYS.....

You and I AQUEMINI..❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I am so blessed to have this young man as my Sun. Chaka is Hebrew for center of energy, life.

When I birthed this little boy, now big boy, he changed my life forever. He forced me to be responsible and accountable for my own destiny. He redeems me everyday and I am soooooo proud of him. I am his biggest fan!

He made All City Chess 1st Team. State Championship 1st place winner! Dream Team next year baby. I love him so!!!
