Honey-mustard chicken & burrata salad 🥗

📹 @big_fat_cook

Fresh, simple and packed with flavor. Juicy grilled chicken, creamy burrata, sweet tomatoes, crisp baby lettuce and a homemade honey-mustard dressing that brings it all together 🌿

You’ll need:
• Chicken breast
• Burrata
• Baby lettuce
• Cherry tomatoes
• Green onion

For the dressing:
• 1 tbsp honey
• 1 tbsp mustard
• 1 garlic clove, minced
• Olive oil
• Juice of 1 lemon
• 2 tsp soy sauce
• Cracked black pepper

Method:
• Whisk together the honey, mustard and garlic.
• Slowly drizzle in olive oil until emulsified.
• Stir in the lemon juice, soy sauce and black pepper.
• Wash and dry your lettuce with the Zyliss Swift Dry Salad Spinner, then finely chop.
• Grill the chicken in a hot pan with a little olive oil and salt until cooked through.
• Plate up with the lettuce, burrata, tomatoes and green onion.
• Drizzle over the dressing and enjoy!

Simple, fresh & ridiculously good 👏

Every recipe on Chefadora comes from a real person, with a real story. This month, five of them pulled up a chair ❤️

We met Lisa (@nenglisaindo ) learned to cook standing beside her mother in a tiny family warung. Years later, when life got hard, that same kitchen became the place she rebuilt herself.

Scott (@forkshift_meals ) isn't a trained chef, and he'll tell you that himself. He's a dad with a camera, proving a home-cooked dinner doesn't need a culinary degree, just someone willing to try.

Maarten (@big_fat_cook ) could've stayed comfortable. Instead he walked away from the steady paycheck, and he refuses to hide the burnt pans and flops along the way, because that's what learning actually looks like.

Victor (@victorroussel.chef ) has cooked in some of the most demanding kitchens in the world. What's stayed with him isn't the accolades, it's the belief that the day you stop learning is the day you stop growing.

And Juliana (@fitfoodiejules ) is a qualified nutritionist in a world full of self-appointed ones. Her whole message is gentle rebellion: food is meant to nourish you, not punish you.

Go say hi. Cook their food ☺️

Maarten Gibson (@big_fat_cook ) was eight years old, home alone in France, figuring out lunch by himself. That's where it all started.

Born in the Netherlands, raised across France and Spain, his palate was always going to end up somewhere interesting.

For three years he held down a corporate job. Then he handed in his notice and bet on food instead.

He's self taught, refreshingly honest about his mistakes, and building something real from the ground up. His series From Corporate to Chef pretty much says it all.
