🥰Behind the scenes over the past 4 years with the @teamcanada Canadian Olympic Committee Athletes’ Commission (COCAC) and the past year and a half on the Canadian Olympic Committee Board of Directors have been both a privilege and an honour.

From representing Canada as an athlete to helping represent athletes in the boardroom. I have been grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the future of Canadian sport alongside passionate leaders, dedicated staff, and fellow athlete representatives.

Throughout this journey, I’ve seen firsthand the importance of ensuring athlete voices are present and heard where decisions are made. I’m proud of the progress we’ve made and grateful to everyone who has helped champion athlete representation and athlete-centered sport.

😘Thank you to the athletes, colleagues, mentors, and friends who have been part of this journey. Your support, perspectives, and commitment to sport have made this work meaningful and rewarding.

💞As I close this chapter with the Canadian Olympic Committee Board of Directors and Athletes’ Commission, I’m filled with gratitude for the people I’ve met, the lessons I’ve learned, and the opportunity to serve. Don’t worry the COCAC is in great hands! GO TEAM!

💯The work continues, but today I’m taking a moment to reflect and say thank you. I look forward to continuing supporting Canadian sport in new ways.❤️🇨🇦

🫶Thank you @teamcanada for being leaders in sport!

Did you know? 👀 The COC Athletes’ Commission ensures the voices of Canadian Olympians are represented in key decisions that impact athletes from athlete rights and safe sport to Olympic team policies and more. It serves as a direct link between athletes and sport leaders across Canada. 🇨🇦⁣
⁣
Congratulations to newly elected members @thecynapps , @vale077 , @marionthenault, and @bigairmar , who will join their fellow Olympians on the volunteer commission and help shape the future of sport in Canada. 👏⁣

Olympics #2 🇨🇦

Still processing this one. It’s taken me a while to sit down and post — the come-down after four years of build-up was real.

Our crew gave everything to get here. There were tough stretches along the way — injuries, results that didn’t go our way — but the effort never slipped. We rolled into the Games prepared, dialled, and tight as a team.

Massive thanks to every athlete and staff member who made this one to remember. One of the busiest chapters of my life. Also one of the best — getting to live and breathe our sport on the world stage, watching these athletes get their shot to show what they can do.

Grateful to have been a small part of the ride. 🫶🏂
