Cockatiels are great for first-time bird owners, but they need daily interaction to stay happy. If you only get one, be ready to spend time with them. In pairs, they keep each other company but still, regular and consistent human bonding is required.

A spacious cage, perches, chew toys, and out-of-cage time are key. Their diet? Mostly pellets, fresh veggies, and a little seed—too much seed can cause health issues. With the right care, they become loving, interactive pets that whistle, mimic sounds, and ask for head scratches!
