🤍🪽ANGEL IS OUT 🪽🤍
As the very first single off my debut Album MODERN MASTERPIECE this is an emotional day. I wrote the intro over 10 years ago… it was a draft laying on my hard drive for many years until I started writing the piece during the pandemic. I then gave it into @tamerfahri hands and he created magic.

I was navigating severe darkness and it keeps being the conversation with my subconscious that I channel into my music where I alchemise what I experience.
‘ANGEL’ is my pain, my inner child, the beauty that lies in embracing our demons.
Having started collaborating with @frank__wiedemann 3 years ago, he was the first one I sent my album. He loved it, and the rest is history.
Thanks @bigamomusik for our journey together 🤍

Bigamo Musik & Villa Lena Celebration. An intimate weekend of music among friends 26-29 November in a very special and beautiful place in Tuscany

This year my label BIGAMO Musik became the music residency partner of @villalenafoundation . Since spring, the Foundation has opened its studios to six BIGAMO musicians and performers. They have lived and worked there among the olive groves: Vinson Fraley, Martina Berther, Mario Scarton, Honingbeer, Al Pagoda and Jeannel.

To celebrate this first chapter together, everyone is gathering at Villa Lena from Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 November for live sets on the estate from BIGAMO artists and this year’s residents, with me, Sebastian Mullaert, Jeannel, Al Pagoda and Bi-Disc on the lineup and more to be announced.

On Friday evening it’s into Florence for Palazzo Strozzi’s twentieth anniversary celebration, where Sebastian Mullaert & I play live for the museum’s friends and all attendees of our first joint Bigamo Musik Villa Lena Celebration.

Closing my month at Villa Lena with a concert in the garden, and a collaboration with fellow resident @jake_paul_white

For the first few weeks we were all following our own paths and getting to know each other. Most nights ended in the kitchen, talking by candlelight, eating cake from the last wedding at the villa.

Jake had spent most of the month boiling branches, experimenting with earth, patiently extracting colours from the surrounding landscape.

By the last week, we’d all become much more familiar with each other. So when we started looking for a place for the final concert, the idea of bringing our worlds together came naturally.

We adapted his installation for the villa’s garden, arranging the dyed fabrics so the last sunlight of the day would pass through them, bringing out their colours as I played.

To finish it all, little David, Avishai and Avital’s son, joined me for the last song and stole the show with his “Café” song, which he’d been singing every morning in the kitchen.

September at Villa Lena, at its richest. Grind pigment straight from the land with Jake Paul White. Sit for a matcha ceremony and paint a silk wedding scarf with Asako Kawachi. Paint from observation with Avishai Platek, or gather leaf and bark into watercolour with Avital Cnaani. It’s vendemmia season, the best time to taste our wine, walk the vineyards and join our Tuscan culinary experiences. Live alongside arrangements from our special in-house florist, Sare Harvell. Evenings bring Al Pagoda live, in collaboration with BIGAMO Musik, the Villa Lena Foundation’s 2026 partner.

B I G A M O L O V E ❣️

I spent the entire month of July 2026 as a musician at Villa Lena at the invitation of the Bigamo label. I’d like to take this opportunity to once again express my heartfelt thanks for the trust placed in me. During my time there, I worked with a Wurlitzer electric piano, a Roland 808 drum machine, a Roland Juno 60, a Roland Space Echo, a Fender Twin Reverb, and a Roland Jazz Chorus & &, &. The incredible atmosphere in the hills of Tuskany inspired me deeply and will have a lasting influence on my next EP. The dust, the cicadas, the incredible heat—all of this was both beautiful and challenging. Back in Switzerland, Jan Wagner and I are now finishing up production on the songs.

During the first three days of my residency, Jan Wagner and I set up the entire rig together. We did some duo jams, which was a lot of fun. We’ll be releasing one or two of those tracks gor shure😘
Jan’s incredible gift for always seeing the positive, working with focus, and
always going all out for the music is absolutely wonderful.

During my residency, I was able to use Jerome Hadey’s studio with everything that was in it. I felt right at home, like I was in my own living room. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you once again, Jerome, for your trust.

August at Villa Lena at its fullest. Paint intuitively with Eliza Groth. Sit with Cuno Andrèhn for a record played start to finish and the conversation it leaves behind. Handbuild a teabowl with Sisse Holst Pedersen. Write on pleasure and attention with Anastasiia Fedorova. Turn plaster into sculpture with Sally von Rosen. Evenings bring Honingbeer live in collaboration with BIGAMO Musik and yoga and sound with Lisa Schmidl among the cypress trees.

And on the 15th we celebrate Ferragosto at the San Michele pool: sunset aperitivo, live music and a Tuscan feast from the wood-fired oven. Book your spot for Ferragosto through host@villa-lena.it. #thisisvillalena

I’m very happy to share that during the course of the recent tour with Apparat, the last copies of the PIECES, FALLING vinyl have sold out. Thank you to everyone who supported this, it really is beautiful to imagine them in your record-shelves & how @liyawenme ’s stellar artwork makes them shine.
