Sideshow - an informal, illegal gathering where drivers block traffic or use public spaces to perform dangerous automotive stunts like donuts and burnouts.

What happens: Drivers spin vehicles in tight circles (donuts), drift, burn rubber, or let cars roll while people dance next to them (ghost riding).

Where they happen: They often take place in wide street intersections, empty parking lots, or bridges.

Origin: They started in Oakland, California, during the 1980s as weekend hangouts for local youth.

“Goin Back To Cali” is out on all platforms

S/O to @alexsavidgektvu for the assistance with putting this video together. Tell the homie @nicosavidge I said what’s up it’s been a minute since we’ve seen each other ✊🏾😎

When I started putting together My Beats Run The Streets Vol. 2, I wanted every record to bring a different piece of my world into focus.

“Sicarios” is one of those records.

Phame and Big Chuco brought that energy to this record perfectly. No forced bars. No fake personas. Just grown men speaking from experience and giving the music everything they have.

That’s what I love most about hip hop. We get to document our lives. Our struggles. Our victories. Our mistakes. We leave behind a record of who we were and what we stood for.

This is another chapter in that story.

“Sicarios” featuring @mr.salas415 & @bigchuco

Produced by @gennessee1

From My Beats Run The Streets Vol. 2. The streets gave us the stories. The music keeps them alive.
