🎂🎈Join us for our 1st birthday! 🎂🎈

FREE event

📆 Sat 19th Sept
📍 @theolddispensary - SE50TF
🕖 From 7pm

We're hosting a League of Our Own 1st Birthday Party on 19th Sept at The Old Dispensary, Camberwell to celebrate what an incredible 365 it has been.

We came together in June 25 and in Sept 25 we ran our first league. Starting with 6 awesome teams & 1 vision - to create an inclusive football space where everyone is celebrated and welcome.

Nearly 1 year on, we're about to kick off our 5th and final league of 2026, and it's been the best.

So come along to our 1st birthday party to celebrate the journey, the joy, the support & what's to come next!

No need to buy a ticket, just come along 🎤 🎶 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

💚💗 WE’RE OFFICIALLY A COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY (CIC) 💗💚

A huge milestone for League of Our Own… we’re now officially registered as a Community Interest Company 🎉⚽

But what does that actually mean?

Being a CIC means we are legally recognised as a not-for-profit organisation created to benefit our community. This opens doors for us to apply for funding, work with partners and create more opportunities that directly support our goal, for more inclusive spaces to play football.

As always, every step we take and every bit of support we receive goes back into building something bigger:

⚽ More opportunities to play football
🏳️‍🌈 Safer, more inclusive spaces
💚 More tournaments, events and community projects
🤝 Better access for people who have felt excluded from football
🌱 Growing opportunities

What started with shared values for inclusion, has become a movement built on belonging, friendship and changing the game for the better.

Thank you to every player, volunteer and supporter who has helped build this community.

This belongs to all of us!
