“2.5 hours in. A big fish sitting deep. Doing whatever it wants.”
That’s the war of attrition phase.
4 or 5 phases already. And now it’s just you, the rod and a giant bluefin tuna that has absolutely no intention of coming up.
This is what the Algarve does to you. This is why we love it. And this is why we keep coming back.
The full Against All Odds Challenge movie coming very soon to the Reel Lucky YouTube channel.
Drop a 💪 if you know exactly what this phase of a big game fight feels like.

“Stay focused. We’ve got a feeling it’s behaving itself.”
This is the moment in a big game fight where everything goes quiet.
No more chaos. No more searing runs. Just you, the rod and a big fish slowly coming up. Stay locked in. Don’t rush it. Don’t lose it now.
The Algarve. The Against All Odds Challenge.
