WEALTH MENTOR RECAP — ROSS MAC WEALTH SUMMIT

This experience meant a lot to me because I had the opportunity to sponsor mentees from the Big Homie Project and expose them to new career paths, new interests, and rooms they may not always have access to.

That’s what this mission is about for me: creating access, expanding vision, and helping young people see what is possible for their future.

While there, I also had the chance to connect with some amazing people, including Portia King, media personality; Corey Phillips, CEO of Social Storm; Mayor Brandon Johnson; and Louis Carr, President of BET.

For me, the biggest takeaway was simple: sometimes one room, one conversation, or one introduction can change the direction of somebody’s life.

I’m grateful I could help bring the next generation into that room.

Exposure creates possibility. Access creates opportunity.

Back to School is in full effect!

We were proud to host our Ice Cream & Backpacks Giveaway, a community-centered initiative designed to help local youth begin the school year feeling prepared, supported, and celebrated. Through this effort, students received backpacks, essential school supplies, breakfast items, snacks, and a little back-to-school fun!

This initiative was made possible through the generosity and collaboration of some incredible community partners:

🎒 @etiquetteseries for providing backpacks and essential school supplies to help students start the year equipped for success.

🍦 @englewoodbranded for keeping our community cool with an amazing ice cream truck and delicious treats for our youth and families.

✏️ @bighomieproject for generously contributing additional school supplies and graciously hosting us in the community.

🍎 And a special thank you to @dria.gooden for thoughtfully filling each backpack with breakfast items and snacks, helping ensure our young people have a strong start to their school day.

Here’s to a safe, successful, and impactful school year for every student we had the privilege of serving!

🎉 Congratulations to the Awardees of the Wealth Summit Sponsorship!

I’m excited to share that mentees from the Big Homie Project will have the opportunity to attend the Wealth Summit and gain access to high-level education around:

💰 Financial literacy
📈 Investing and wealth building
💼 Career pathways
🏢 Entrepreneurship
🤝 Networking and mentorship

This is exactly what community investment should look like.

Giving young people access to rooms, knowledge, and opportunities that can help shape their future.

Ross Mac and all of us are excited to welcome you.

Now the goal is simple:

Show up.
Ask questions.
Build relationships.
Learn everything you can.
And bring that knowledge back to your community.

Congratulations again to the awardees.

This is your opportunity.

Make it count.

Our co-founder @ericamelissa_ behind the lens at Homecourt by @erica.adams.design for @wnba All-Star, but the real story is who she was in the room with.

Erica wasn’t just shooting the night, she was there repping the Feast Series and sharing our mission with the change makers, culture shifters, and people building something bigger than the game. These are the conversations that move the needle. This is why the Feast Series exists. 🏀 Thank you for an incredible night!

Tomorrow in Chicago, we’re spotlighting seven organizations that are creating meaningful impact through sports, education, mentorship, wellness, and community.

Swipe through to meet the nonprofits joining us at HOMECOURT on July 22. We can’t wait to celebrate their impact and the important work they’re leading.

Second year being part of Miracle on 63rd and it was a blessing to serve! We gave away Turkeys, non perishable food, helped give away toys and most importantly, poured love poured back into the community.

Much respect to @englewoodbranded, a true servant of God doing the work where it matters most. Thank you too @foodforfriends_chicago for the donation! & @protrained!

Just a small snippet into my world 🌍

I’ll be sharing more soon — one of my goals this season is to be more intentional and consistent with my social media. I want to connect, build, and grow with my community and peers more.

My mission is simple: bring value wherever I can and be a servant to God’s people. 🙏🏾

Foot on the gas. Purpose in motion. Let’s keep going. 💪🏾🔥
