🎃 Why should the kids get to have all the fun this Halloween? 👻

These big boy Monster Steak Sandwiches are for the adult ghouls out there!

Built for a monster 😜 appetite, these sandwiches are loaded with creamy horseradish, carmelized onions, thin sliced "bloody" steak, muenster cheese, and a pretzel bun.

The @bighornus 1500° Infrared Grill was the star of the show with the carmelized onions and that monster sear on the steak!

Does a steak boat count as a sandwich?

We loaded ours with garlic butter, sliced steak, roasted tomatoes, mozzarella, and fontina, all melted together on the @bighornus infrared grill. Whatever you call it, we can definitely agree it was delicious.

What do you think?

First cook with the @bighornus pellet pizza oven. It cooked our pizzas so well and it was way easier to use than the attachment for my Weber Grill. I got this from the website on clearance for $100. If you like wood fired pizza then go grab one quickly.

Last night I put a 1-3/4 inch thick New York steak on the IR Grill at about 1000°F for a grand total of about 8 1/2 minutes…

Talk about fast food…..

With a little practice, I’ve gotten better at pulling these things out of this furnace and still getting them to be at medium rare…..

It goes against every fiber of my being, but I have to say it was pretty tasty, especially with a 24 hour sea salt dry brine and coarse black pepper grind after an eight minute rest…..

Red meat has been demonized for the past couple of decades, but it is the most nutrient dense food on the planet and extremely healthy.
I love that we are taking a hard look at what we have been told is “healthy” and “bad for us”.
