"The look of love
Is in your eyes.
A look your smile
Can't disguise."

@katzcoffee
(2400 Karbach St)

Stopped by Katz Coffee for a cuppa tha good stuff. I'm a Coffee Guy. Drink prolly way too much of the stuff, but I really do love it. The taste, rhe smell, the simple act of sipping a cup as I write. Just love the whole thing!

Avi Katz, the owner, actually calls his coffee "Liquid Love". And, despite the uncomfortable double entendre, I'm kinda in full agreement.

Didja know you can get a free coffee from 9am-3pm in the lobby at Katz? Well you do now. Americanos, lattes, cappuccino, fall flavors and spices galore! The coffee is free, but please please remember to tip the baristas. I work for tips too so I encourage you to be extra generous cuz, again, the coffee is FREE.

Avi invited me to take a tour of the whole facility so we're gonna set that up and I'll share the adventure with you guys soon!

Read about Avi & Katz Coffee in this month's issue of SB+ Magazine.

Keep an eye out for the September issue of SB+ Magazine! No, I'm not on the cover again. I'm not Oprah. And besides Dawn wants people to actually pick up and read the magazine. That's a fake one I did to tell you about my article.

The real cover story is about Avi Katz (@bigkitty01 ), owner of @katzcoffee . You see Avi all over Spring Branch, he's a great member of the community and Katz Coffee is pretty much in all the restaurants. Read all about them.

In "BRANCHING OUT" I take a mini-tour of many of the wonderful Vietnamese cafes we have here in SB. I tell you my favorite dish at each place and, yes, I also share which Vietnamese restaurant is my favorite (would you believe I rarely get Pho or Banh Mi there?)

We had the privilege of sharing a very special moment with an extraordinary human being who has supported us since day one, together with his amazing team. You deserve this dear Avy.

This piece was created as a tribute to leadership, vision, and the legacy behind @katzcoffee. A small way to say thank you to someone who represents hard work, humility, and inspiration for all of us.

@lizzy_romero, thank you for your constant support and for always being there for us.

Below, we share the inscription that accompanies this wonderful artwork created by the great master @pachonart.

“BREWED DREAMS

This piece was created entirely using Katz Coffee.
Every drop applied represents the effort, vision, and dream that gave birth to Katz Coffee and turned it into a true benchmark.

A NASCAR car appears in the composition, symbolizing how his name now circles and stands out within one of the largest sports in the United States—reflecting persistence, speed, and determination.

A classic Willys Jeep is also featured as a tribute to the authentic, adventurous spirit of true classics—a metaphor for strong leadership and a solid legacy.

Avy himself is illustrated within the artwork, representing his leadership, guidance, and the personal imprint he has left on every step of the journey.

With gratitude
