Lawson Sommerville | Mean Streets | Class of 2032

Lawson Sommerville showed why he’s the No. 1 player in the class of 2032 at Top Notch Academy. An absolute dog and a man among boys in his class, Lawson is super advanced for his age. It’s a joy to watch him compete he’s somebody you need to see for yourself. Keep your eyes on him!

🏀 SWISH ELITE CENTRAL ILLINOIS

🔥 2031–2032 BOYS PRESEASON TOP 20 🔥

The next wave of Central Illinois basketball is here.

We’ve put together our Preseason Top 20 based on what we’ve seen from players across the area — including skill, production, basketball IQ, competition, defense, consistency, and overall impact.

But the season hasn’t started yet… 👀

Rankings will change. Players will rise. New names will emerge. And some players outside the Top 20 will have the chance to prove they belong.

👑 Who do YOU think should be #1?
⬆️ Who should be ranked higher?
🔥 Who did we miss?

Tag a player who should’ve made the list and let us know why.

📌 Save this list. We’ll see who rises, who falls, and who makes their way into the Top 20 as the season unfolds.

The debate starts NOW. 🗣️🏀

Coaching

Submitting to my Purpose

Led Sacred Heart 8th Grade A-Team to the Semi-Finals (2nd in League 13-3 record) in the CCYL (cannot post pictures per schools direct rules).

I am privileged and honored to be apart of the Meanstreets Family as a Jr. EYBL Assistant Coach; this has been an absolute dream come true. I look forward to being here for years to come. I would not be here without @_andrew.choi , @tim.anderson15 , Tyrone Slaughter and the Meanstreets Coaching Family. I am extremely thankful for their belief and trust in me; I will continue to improve as a Coach and a man to benefit the growth of our players.

Our team made it to Peach Jam and finished with an 9-8 record (Second in the Jr. EYBL Midwest Division; 34-13 overall record)

A man told me I should think about how I want to be remembered as a Coach. My response is, I want to be remembered as a Coach that is willing to tell you the truth even if it risks ruining our relationship.
