I LIKE being the person everybody can call. And I mean that. My wife needs me? I got you. My kids need me? Daddy got it. Family needs something? I’m there. My people need help figuring some shit out? Let’s figure it out. That’s just part of who I am. But lately I’ve been asking myself… When did being dependable turn into me feeling responsible for EVERYTHING? Because I don’t think those are the same thing. Sometimes I’ll put what I’m doing on hold because somebody else needs me. Sometimes saying “no” makes me feel guilty—even when I know I need to say it. And then this shit hit me: I’m somebody I’m responsible for too. Whew. 😮‍💨 Maybe I don’t need to stop being somebody everybody can call. Maybe I just need to understand that… every call doesn’t require me to answer. Now I’m curious about y’all: Can you be there for everybody you love WITHOUT abandoning yourself in the process? And what’s harder for you—saying no… or the guilt that comes after? Talk to me. 👇🏾 I really wanna hear this one. 🥓 Daily Dose of Bacon A Different Perspective Through the Eyes of Bacon. 🥓🎵— DAILY DOSE OF BACON I turned Daily Dose of Bacon into a SONG. 🥓🎵 And nah… I didn’t want some cheesy theme song. 😂 I wanted something that actually sounded like what Daily Dose means to me. I’m a husband. I’m a father. I’m building something. I’m still growing. Still making mistakes. Still asking questions. I ain’t got all the answers… I’m just figuring this shit out too. And sometimes the situation itself doesn’t even have to change. Sometimes… you just need another view. 🎵 DAILY DOSE OF BACON Same life. Different view. Same road. Different route. This song represents exactly what we’re building here: Real life. Real conversations. Different perspectives. So turn that shit up and tell me what y’all think. 😂🔥 And if you’ve been rocking with Daily Dose, share this with somebody who might need a different perspective today. 🥓 Daily Dose of Bacon A Different Perspective Through the Eyes of Bacon. AM I FALLING BEHIND… OR AM I JUST LOOKING SIDEWAYS TOO MUCH? 👀 You can be perfectly fine with your life… Then open Instagram for 10 damn minutes. 😂 Somebody bought a house. Somebody got promoted. Somebody’s business taking off. Somebody traveling. Somebody celebrating another win. And suddenly you looking at YOUR life like… “Damn… am I behind?” But behind WHO? That’s the part I’ve been thinking about. Who decided where I’m supposed to be by now? Because maybe I’m not actually behind. Maybe I’m measuring my everyday life against somebody else’s highlight reel. Maybe I’ve been so busy looking at how fast everybody else is moving that I haven’t stopped to recognize my own progress. 🥓 Daily Dose of Bacon A Different Perspective Through the Eyes of Bacon. Talk to me: What’s one thing you see other people doing that immediately makes you feel like you should be further ahead? DO YOU MISS THEM… OR DO YOU MISS WHO YOU WERE WITH THEM? Man… reminiscing will have you fucked up sometimes. 😂 An old song comes on. Facebook throws one of them damn memories at you. You see an old picture. Drive past somewhere you haven’t been in years… And BOOM. Now you’re thinking about somebody you ain’t thought about in forever. But I had to ask myself something… Do I actually miss that person? Or do I miss the version of ME that existed during that time? Because nostalgia got a slick way of playing the greatest hits and leaving some important shit off the album. 😂 Sometimes there’s a reason y’all aren’t in each other’s lives anymore. That doesn’t mean the memories weren’t real. Doesn’t mean the love wasn’t real. Doesn’t mean that chapter wasn’t important. Maybe everything we miss ain’t supposed to come back. Sometimes you can smile at an old memory… without reopening an old door. 🥓 Daily Dose of Bacon A Different Perspective Through the Eyes of Bacon. Now I’m curious: What’s something—or somebody—from your past that you still miss sometimes, but KNOW you wouldn’t want back in your life today? Talk to me. 👇🏾 As Always… Have an Awesome Day On Purpose. 🥓 #DailyDoseOfBacon #DaRealMrBacon #Reminiscing #Nostalgia #DifferentPerspective RealTalk

EVERYBODY GETS A PIECE OF ME… SO WHAT’S LEFT? Work gets a piece. The bills get a piece. The goals get a piece. Being a husband gets a piece. Being a father gets a piece. Then you finally get home around the people you love most… and somehow they get the tired version of you. That shit had me thinking: Who the hell told me I had to be EVERYTHING, for EVERYBODY, every damn day? Maybe taking care of yourself ain’t taking away from the people who depend on you. Maybe sometimes… it’s part of taking care of them. 🥓 Daily Dose of Bacon A Different Perspective Through the Eyes of Bacon. Question: Do the people you love keep getting the tired version of you? And what do you do to refill yourself? As Always… Have an Awesome Day On Purpose. #DailyDoseOfBacon #DaRealMrBacon #Fatherhood #HusbandLife #Provider RealTalk MensPerspective DifferentPerspective

MAYBE I AIN’T BREAKING… You ever have one of those days where YOU need somebody… …but somehow everybody needs you? You got your own shit going on. Your own doubts. Your own pressure. Then somebody calls because they need you to help them through theirs. And I’m sitting there thinking… “How the hell am I supposed to help you see the light when I’m standing in the dark too?” But maybe being under pressure doesn’t always mean we’re breaking. Maybe sometimes we’re finding out what we’re actually made of. And nah… that doesn’t mean carry everything alone. Ask for help. Take the break. Cry if you need to. Put some shit down. Because being strong ain’t pretending shit ain’t heavy. Sometimes it’s admitting: “Yeah… this shit heavy. And I need somebody too.” 💬 So let me ask you: When everybody comes to YOU for strength… Who do YOU go to when you need somebody? 🥓 Daily Dose of Bacon A Different Perspective Through the Eyes of Bacon. Learning to Enjoy Peace Without Waiting for the Catch!! You ever have one of those days where… Nobody needs anything. Ain’t no emergency. Bills ain’t screaming at you TODAY. 😂 Everything is actually… cool. And instead of enjoying it, your brain goes: “🤨 Aight… so what’s about to happen?” Man, I realized I’m so used to putting out fires that sometimes I don’t know what to do when shit ain’t burning. And maybe that’s the problem. We spend so much time preparing for the next problem that we forget we’re allowed to enjoy the moments when there isn’t one. Everything doesn’t need fixing. Every quiet moment ain’t the calm before the storm. Sometimes… a good day can just be a good damn day. 💬 Be honest: When life is going good, can you actually enjoy it… or do you start waiting for something to go wrong? 👀😂 🥓 Daily Dose of Bacon A Different Perspective Through the Eyes of Bacon. Who are you… when all the titles are gone? I read a story that stopped me in my tracks. Somebody said… “I spent so much of my life being who everybody else needed me to be… that I don’t even know who I am anymore.” That hit me. Because somewhere along the way… Some of us become so focused on being the provider… The parent… The spouse… The employee… The friend… …that we forget the person underneath all those titles. Maybe you’ve been introducing yourself by what you do… Instead of who you are. Today’s Daily Dose of Bacon isn’t about having the answer. It’s about asking a question that could change your life: Who are you when everything else is stripped away? 💬 Now I want to hear from you. Have you ever felt like you lost yourself while trying to be everything for everyone else? Tell me your story. Your story could become the next Daily Dose of Bacon conversation. 🎥 Watch the full conversation on YouTube. Link in my bio. 🥓 You bring the story… Together we’ll find the perspective. Have you ever felt guilty for growing? Not because you’ve stopped loving the people around you… But because you’re changing. Your mindset is changing. Your goals are changing. Your habits are changing. And it feels like the people you love are staying the same. That’s a hard place to be. You want to become the person you know you’re capable of becoming… But you don’t want the people you love to think you’ve forgotten where you came from. So here’s the question… Can you grow without feeling guilty? That’s the conversation we’re having in today’s Daily Dose of Bacon. 💬 I don’t want your opinion… I want your story. Have you ever felt guilty for becoming the person you needed to be? What happened? 👇 Share your story in the comments.
