Our beautiful Hana. We think 19yo. Some say 17. It doesn’t matter. In her younger days., this girl with Sol and Lidia would cruise at midnight to the beach and then walk along the beach to the centro. Vagabundos we called them. The three girls were bad ass and smart. But for the last 10 years she lived her life only in the ranch. She never left. All the dogs respected her as the matriarch. And she just did her thing. Taking walks in the Ranch every day. There is no sadness here. There’s only the celebration of an amazing life that she lived. No one can really explain why someone or something lives so long. I think she just never wanted to leave her heaven on earth. And I told her that every day. How she’s just our Hana Banana and this is her ranch. … physically the last two days were a decline. I just couldn’t let her be like this and suffer after such a full life and peaceful life. No sadness here. More like a love and respect that had earned its time. We all have to go at some point. And Hana showed us a way, a path, that was a sweet, gentle soul, never aggressive, never barked, but held all the doggies in place for all those years . God speed Hana. I know you’ll still watching over all the doggies still at the ranch @bigpapadirk

Ok. This is not an easy subject. But clearly it’s forefront in all your longevity. Your heart ❤️. If it stops, it’s over. Simple unknown tests. A clearer understanding. Simple dietary changes. .. .. may save your life. (Note: using Ai, I get it….. Its not “live me”. But it allows me to write the script exactly and then that script is delivered succinctly. That’s why AI delivery). I’ll go with it for now. @bigpapadirk

We took a hard hit last night. You can imagine my shock when I got sent this picture at seven in the I took a deep breath got in the car and by 8a we were at it I will say this as a teaching moment. Your path in life is not supposed to be a smooth and easy one. Some people are unhappy because they face troubles and are upset about that. The very reason there are rocks and disturbances in your path is for you to learn how to overcome those obstacles. Who you are is actually a function of how you handle those obstacles. And that’s all they are. This was not a named tropical storm. This was what’s called a Monsoon rain. It came out of nowhere and dumped an enormous amount of rain overnight which brought a river crashing down the hill into our property. Somewhere in the “madrugada” (the darkest of night before the dawn) our wall failed. .. .. It’s OK. In one day i had it protected from more water coming. … and we have a good plan to take rebuild. Have faith in us. Take this moment to think of some of your own obstacles in your own life - yes, you can overcome anything … and journey on. Stay tuned. @bigpapadirk
