#ThrowbackThursday

Taking it back to last month’s Scrapyard 6th Anniversary Event out in Gig Harbor, Washington. I stepped into that cage looking for something I hadn’t gotten before since starting this boxing journey 18 months ago…my first WIN!!!

Getting my hand raised was an incredible feeling but what really means the most is knowing how much work, growth, sacrifice, and lessons went into getting to this moment. I know I’ve still have a lot of work to do, I’m a long way from being a great boxer, but I’m definitely proud of the fighter I’m becoming. This still remains to be one of my TOUGHEST challenges and moving forward my goals are continued growth, continued greatness, and of course continuing to push myself beyond what I thought I was capable of especially at my old age!

Huge shoutout to @chandracphotography aka #Snapshot who is one of the Scrapyard’s official photographers and someone who has become a friend along the way. You captured these moments perfectly and I truly appreciate you!

Much love to @the_scrapyard_official especially @fir3chick3n and @naughtynate42088 for coaching me during this fight (EPIC!), everyone who has supported me, everyone who has trained with me, and everyone who continues to believe in me and this crazy journey I’m on…much love and respect!!! 💪🏼😎💨💨💨🍪💯💯 #scrapyard #boxing #motivation
