We continue to show up. 🙏🏽❤️

Serving our brothers and sisters at MacArthur Park, breaking bread together, and reminding one another that everyone deserves to be seen, loved, and treated with dignity.

God’s children serving God’s children with love, compassion, and being present for one another. As long as God gives us the strength and opportunity to serve, we’ll keep showing up.

Community helping community. ❤️

These children, their parents, and our volunteers have been showing up month after month, leading by example and showing CD9 Councilmember Curren Price Jr. what a real community looks like.

Our message has been simple from day one: we don’t need photo ops, need permanent solutions. We need cameras.

Last Saturday, we spent hours cleaning the entire Flower Street corridor behind 61st Street Elementary. Then on Monday, Curren Price showed up with his crew and LAPD to pick up two boxes of trash and posted a video as if they cleaned the entire area. He even claimed they’ve been out here every day for the past three months.

Price, stop lying to yourself, fam. You might be able to convince yourself, but you can’t fool God. You can’t fool me. And you certainly can’t fool the children, parents, community members, and volunteers who have been out here consistently doing the work.

We’ve been here for months cleaning this school, filling bags of trash, pressure washing, and leading by example while asking for one thing: install the cameras.

Instead of sending your entire crew out after we do the work just to create a social media moment, meet us halfway. Stop waiting for me to announce our cleanup dates so your team can show up a few days later and pretend the problem is solved.

Enough with the excuses and “we’re working on something.” Stop wasting resources on photo opportunities and invest in a permanent solution that protects these kids and this community.

Do your job. Install the cameras!!#community #losangeles #volunteer #environment #cleanup

💙 61st Street Elementary Community Cleanup 💙

A huge thank you to every volunteer who showed up today to help clean around 61st Street Elementary School. Your time, hard work, and heart are making a real difference for the students, families, and the entire community.

Every bag of trash picked up is one step closer to creating a cleaner, safer neighborhood where our children can learn and thrive. This work is about more than cleaning streets—it’s about showing our kids that their community cares.

Together, we’re proving that when a community comes together, positive change happens.#community #losangeles #volunteer #environment #cleanup

Another incredible day serving our unhoused brothers and sisters at MacArthur Park. ❤️

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to every volunteer who showed up to serve with love, compassion, and kindness. A special thank you to those who continue to show up month after month, and a warm welcome to everyone who joined us for the first time. We are grateful to have you as part of this mission.

Together, we are making a difference in people’s lives. Together, we continue God’s work by serving others with dignity, love, and hope.

Thank you for giving your time, your hearts, and your hands to this community. None of this would be possible without each and every one of you.

May God bless you, protect you, and keep you and your loved ones safe always. 🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽#community #losangeles #volunteer #helpinghands #feed

We’re going to continue showing up and advocating for these babies until permanent solutions are made by the city. Cameras, lights, safety, and clean streets shouldn’t be a privilege for our children. Their voices matter, their future matters, and we will not stop fighting for a clean and safe environment for them to grow, learn, and dream in. Community helping community. 🙏🏽🤝#community #losangeles #volunteer #environment #61stelementary

We’re going to continue to unite and advocate for the children at 61st. Activating the youth and inspiring the adults in the community to step up.

We can’t stop.
We won’t stop.

These kids deserve a voice and permanent solutions nothing less! ❤️🤝🙏🏽#community #losangeles #volunteer #cleanup #environment

Please join us every other Sunday to help keep 61st Street Elementary School clean. While we’re waiting on the city, or whoever is responsible, to come through with permanent solutions…cameras, lights, and proper signage we must continue to show up for these kids.

To the parents of 61st Street Elementary, we need you. Let’s get inspired and lead by example. Come join us and stand up for your children and your community.

It’s only 4 hours per month, but it can make a real difference. If you don’t want to do it for yourself, do it for your kids because they deserve better. 💪🏽🏫✨🤝🙏🏽❤️#community #losangeles #volunteer #cleanup #environment
