This little cutie was finally ready to harvest. For those asking, it’s a Rich Sweetness 132 Melon and is supposed to be somewhere between a honeydew and cantaloupe but since I’ve never grown it before, actually have no idea what to expect. Excited to try this with @theimperfectgardeners, who gave me the plant start (they started from seed) and see what we think!

TESTING TESTING 1-2-3!
Only available to order through tomorrow night!

I’m baking and want to see how many want to share in the goods. :)
DM me to get your order in. I can only take so many orders so first come first baked. 😝

Bread and bagels are SOURDOUGH. #sourdough

Fresh baked sourdough (still warm!) with the Virgo sign ♍️ carved into it, an adventure to the top of Mt Baldy (or as far as you can drive), and a new to me birthday cocktail (called Wicked Behavior), plus a lunar eclipse to boot… so many more moments to the birthday shenanigans, and more planned tomorrow. Kicking off the next run around the sun right.

Friday Cocktail: White Peach Martini 🍑

Peaches are easily one of my favorite fruits and I love this time of summer when they hit peak ripeness. This cocktail is basically August in a glass and I’m not mad about it! You’ll need:

- 2 oz vodka
- 1 oz peach purée (I made mine by blending fresh peaches with a splash of peach nectar and peach schnapps)
- 1 oz lime juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- 1/2 oz peach schnapps

To make: add all ingredients with ice to a shaker and shake vigorously till well mixed and fully chilled. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a peach slice or sprig of mint. Enjoy and cheers! 🥂

I think I’d bake it about 3-5 minutes less for a dash of a gooey center. But even then… this loaf was 85% better than one you can buy at the store!
Recipe coming. 😻😻😻

Quiet as it’s kept I’ve always been stressed to make blossoms. Even though I’ve grown, farmed, and sold them. I think I nailed it for my first try. 😻
