AKASHIC SOUNDS 6 (MIX) OUT NOW (SOUNDCLOUD)

started off real mellow with some classic dilla
then transition into some jordan ward. then traveled all the way to africa for them deep vibrations followed with some jersey bounce and house jazz. but the last few minutes of this mix with destin conrad “tide” and cleo sol “go baby” made me get in my feels had me reflecting on life.

if you enjoyed this mix or my previous work share it with you’re friends & family also most important support the artists that’s being played in this mix

9 years ago REC vol. 3 came out & captured the moment when we had a real beat scene in Richmond, akin to (& inspired heavily by) LA in the mid 00's - Low End Theory & early Brainfeeder/Stones Throw events. Especially relevant during the first ever Richmond Music Week to remind everyone of the wealth of talent and depth of sound stored in pockets all over this city.

Putting this together was an awesome experience and laid a new foundation and network for my career & future goals as a musician/producer & organizer. Give it a spin ❤️ or a free DL <link in bio>

Modern Dali

Pandemic days. Lots of sun, lots of energy spent in garages, lot of time lived presently. I miss this. But I’m a better person for it and to those I got to make these memories with, thank you 💜🪷

I’m going to start planning on commissioning prints. If there is any imagery I’ve shot. Anything we can make. Whatever it is. Hit me up. I’m going to be traveling a bit in the first couple months of the year but other then that. My phones always on

With Love,

Jar

My dudes @the_knocks played their biggest hometown headline show on Thursday as part of their US tour and it was EPIC! I’ve been working as their musical director now since 2018 and we’ve been working super hard on this latest version of their live show for quite a while and it felt so good to see it all come together and see the show I’ve been envisioning and programming for months 😊 super happy and proud of the boys @djbroc and @mrjpatt for absolutely smashing it and also for trusting me to create their show with their incredible music ❤️ they allowed me so much creative freedom and it’s been such a joy to work with them creating this show ☺️ thanks so much guys and @kopecsteve and keep smashing it out on the road on this tour!! Can’t wait to see what’s next for you guys! 🔥

Also huge shout out to everyone involved in making this show and the tour happen - you’re all killing it every day! Love you all! ❤️

Kessel Run played its first show ever, 6 years ago today. I'm so grateful for the musicians, fans, crew-members & friends that I've met along the way..

Come celebrate with us in a couple weeks at Mountain Sun in Boulder on Sunday, 9/11! Hella special guests, free tunes, old classics, cold beers. What a time to be alive ♥️🥁🚀

Love my people so much ❤️❤️❤️ Spin the new @sspu record PHYSICAL THRILLS. Its a rager! Coming to you live in a city near you soon 🦒❤️🥳
