YO! Wanted to share this lil clip from a work by Jack Jobling ( @biibocc ) for boy 2000’s ( @boy.2ooo ) song “phoenix.”

I’m not sure what the proper name for this type of style is, but I really like it. I remember when I got introduced to Mike Klubnika’s games - I think that was the moment I started vibing with this low-poly movement. To me, this is just visually beautiful and, when you think about it, has that nostalgia which resonates with me so much. I think Jack did an amazing job with the colors, and I absolutely love the futuristic setting. Combining everything with the song, damn, this is a real vibe!

While doing a little research, I noticed that he’s worked with some big names like PinkPantheress and Childish Gambino, which makes me really happy. It’s quite inspiring when a cool artist gets noticed ngl.

So yeah, quick lil post today! Go support Jack, show some love, and for more, head over to his insta page :)

boy 2000 - phoenix (Official Music Video)

Its hard to put into words just how much this video means to me. Some of my earliest memories were made in front of our giant dinosaur computer in the home office watching music videos from all of my favorite artists. I still go back and watch those music videos frequently when I want to feel inspired

I used to dream of making music. I used to dream of performing live. I used to dream of being a DJ. And I used to dream of one day having a music video. And that has finally become a reality.

It was a great pleasure getting to work with @biibocc on the creation of this video. I can’t thank him enough for his hard work and artistry. He brought this world to life in a way I never thought possible. And I am also very grateful for @1minesweeper All the beautiful mograph elements do such an amazing job of immersing and guiding the viewer throughout the video.

Thank you to everyone involved in making this dream a reality! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

Creative Direction, 3D and VFX Supervision for Pinkpantheress- Close to you 🏰🧚‍♀️ @pinkpantheress

Leading a post-production team of 15 artists, helping to direct Pink on set, 3D intro zoom sequence, 2.5D tapestry animation, 3D transformation animation, leading the design team for custom card designs for the vid, styling mood boards + so much more… this video has been my entire life for the past 5 weeks. I’ve done 5 all nighters within the past 10 days to get this over the line.

It’s been an honour to work with such a phenomenal team for this video. It feels like the past 4 years of chasing my dreams has led up to this project, and I’m excited that I could bring on so many of my friends to share this moment together.

A special thank you to @curseweb @akamwave @magnomopus_ @reduciano and @reenostus for giving your everything on this project. Wouldn’t have been possible without your sleepless nights and hard work.

Thank you to @la.uzza as always for trusting me to bring your vision to life. We bring the best out of each other and this video existing on the LAUZZA channel is a huge milestone for the UK. I’m proud of us.
