New Work- Gossamer - A short film written and directed by @hamishgsturgeon , starring @thenatalie_mitchell and Hamish Sturgeon. Produced by @fkeeve | Production Design by @jd_corbin & @godricamadeus
We developed an intimate, restrained visual language around grief, identity, and the distance between our private selves and the people we allow the world to see. Photographed over three days in a single location, the film moves between cool isolation and warm, dreamlike moments. Lovely work from everyone involved in this project. 🙏. Big thank you to my awesome team. @bikenejad @julian_film @dmavroudis @frank_zio_ #cinematography #shortfilm #gossamerfilm #independentfilm @atlaslensco

This summer was too hot and a little strange, but then this very cool thing happened…I got into the ASC Vision Mentorship program @the__asc !! and I’m so happy that all the blood sweat and tears have been worth it. Grateful for the incoming guidance and encouragement—and very ready to shoot some movies that can make some sense of this strange and beautiful life. Huge thanks to those who have supported me on this cinematography journey — can’t do this job without community! And on another note, been thinking about how sometimes the back of the flower is just as pretty as the front. No bad parts :)

I made a LoFi handycam video recap of a recent bike tour in SD with the homies. I had to chop off like a minute and a half for this reel but the FULL version is on YouTube, link in bio.

View from the top.

Our team covered an event for the Architecture & Design Conference (AIA26) up in the Skybox.

It’s not hard to sit back and admire a great view of our own beautiful city 😍
