Thank you for having me at Korean Embassy 🇰🇷🤍 A beautiful evening of connection, community, and familiar warmth — bringing Koreans in Germany together through conversations, food, and shared moments. And because one evening is never enough, we continued the night at Kimchi Princess ✨

2025-March-16 Insides of community work Past 5 months we have been busy bees to engage in our different communities and exchange the experiences of generations in socio-political, (inter)cultural and art movement and stand in solidarity with the democratic activism we are biographically and/or emotionally linked to. For me as a "518 Maychild" this time was an opportunity to re-connect with the spirit we felt in our youth when we did for 10 years in a row the 518 seminars to teach eachother history and discourses. In May 2025 the commemoration of the victims of the Gwangju uprising in Germany will be held for the 45th year, this year again in Berlin. We are organising as a part of the Seminar workshops in German language to create a space for that intercultural and transnational Korean-German socio-political interested community coming together from all over Germany. Save the date May 9-11, 2025 and stay tuned, the invitation will be send in the next days. It's time to gather again. #koreandiaspora #518mayday #mayday #classstruggle in #eurasia #fightimperialism #leftpoliticsnow #koreangermancommunity #fightfascismeverywhere #overcominghierarchies #intergenerationalhealing #migrationhistory #firstsecondthirdgeneration #democraticmovement #peacemovement #endwarbetweennorthandsouth
