Let us continue to destroy mythologies! As requested, here’s an acoustic rendition of ‘Oceanic’. There’s some backstory but if you want to just see a performance it’s about 4 minutes in.

Originally written late 2006 or maybe 07 then I recorded it with @billertom with my backing band two part beast featuring @bobb_brujo and @adamauntie. It was self released at the time then later @world_in_sound contacted me to say that it was an important album for Germany Psych Freaks and released it on vinyl.

Oceanic

Well it’s oceanic
On the carousel
In the whirlwind zone
This ain’t your throne
You got a little cloud
Hanging over your head
And there’s no way of knowing
How you’re gonna get over it
But you gotta get over it
For your own good
Take a dose of reality
That you withstood
You’re only insecure
When you’re up at the helm
And the!old familiar feeling of dread
Sets in
Well I’m lovesick
It’s panoramic
I count the sleepless nights
That I’d memorized
Every word that I said
From out in Tokyo
Was out of context
And out of a conflict, oh Romeo
With a severing screaming release
And the hallowed entreaty
Oh but it just doesn’t cease
Even when I leave
And you’re out of sight
With no contact
And the pull so strong
But I know that I’m not on the wrong track

Direct To DVD has been living in CD form for the past 5 months…floating around in dusty hard drives and car stereos before that.

Today it finally hits streaming.
(link in bio. Or just search it. you’ll manage)

New songs, old ideas, covers, remixes, oddball tracks…
Basically an album of songs written between the albums.

Enjoy

P.s. we also just pressed more physical copies on cd which had been sold out. Using more reused dvd cases. On sego.bandcamp

Huge thanks to everyone who already showed love by 👍🏽 or comment on the first two posts I had to delete because of the GRAMMY® “For Your Consideration” restrictions and their specific artwork rules. Here’s the updated and final version!

Stay Strong is finally out. I came up with this riff years ago and the rest of the song quickly followed. I pulled my back recording the solo and most likely damaged my vocal cords screaming so much. My friends helped me make it better.

Produced by me

Mixed and Engineered by @billertom

Guitars by me

Bass by me and @50_cent_cowboy who plays the incredible bass solo on the breakdown

Drums and Percussion by @ace.drums who made every note and hit count

Additional guitars, engineering and production by Dante Sessions

We recorded this at @boulevardrecording and our own studio
