Made a trip to my favorite place today. Belfast Maine! Picked up this sparkly green claw that I made with the team this winter. The sun was not out today to be able to show off the killer sparkle color combination @billion.bees mixed up for this claw. This is only the beginning! I have BIG plans in store for this Emerald Claw!

I finally had a chance to cold work a soft glass claw. Wow I love it just like I do in Boro..The texture the claw has is irresistible. It’s a must touch! I was able to give line texture to the barnacles as well. @billion.bees killed on the color combo. I can’t wait to light this baby up! #madeinmaine #handblownglass #lobsterclaw #oneofakind #functionalart

Soft glass Claw #2 is getting into the size that I’m looking for!! @brianfrus took a couple gigantic gathers to get me this nice ball of glass to sculpt a claw into. I am looking forward to next week. @billion.bees is going to help me nail the perfect color for the blue claw. #madeinmaine #monstah #claw #glass #handsculpted #teamwork #belfastmaine #waterfallarts

👏🏼👏🏼Congratulations to Tyler Alum, Erin Bobo (@billion.bees ), for the MaineCAP award with @glassbyperrin! We love seeing the exciting things our alumni do and make out in the world. 🌎

Starting out at Tyler as a non-major in glass, Erin quickly caught the glass bug 🐝 and added a semester to complete her glassblowing minor. After graduation, Erin poured back into the Tyler community as other students found their own love for glass. 😍Over the last few years, the artist has focused on horticulture work in Maine while also working with Linda Perrin at Atlantic Art. We are so excited to see how Erin refines her work and continues to learn from the community at the @maine_crafts_association! 💪🏼
