It’s the year of the fire horse again 🔥🐎 in #chinesezodiac #firehorse2026 #yearofthehorse ! And my little Virgo is also a fire horse.

One week from today, Karlito and I will be celebrating his 12th birthday and I’m so grateful for each and every day with him. Before our boating adventure, he fell off the dock and I had to jump in the most disgusting muddy water that had like 2 feet of pure sludge at the bottom to get him out🤮😥😩 so now we can officially say I rescued him #rescuedog #rescue

ADOPT DONT SHOP! For his birthday this year, Karlito 💃🏻😍💕 is asking for everyone to donate to their local animal shelter. Most people don’t know that over 700,000 dogs are euthanized each year purely because shelters run out of space. Backyard breeders are a huge driver of this issue. Karlito wants his fellow emotionally intelligent animals to feel as safe and loved as he is 😇 what a guy 🤗🤗🤗

This garden party was supposed to happen the day after my birthday, in February, but life had other plans.
We had to push it a couple of weeks while my dad was back in the hospital (he’s doing much better now 🤍), and by the time the day came, I almost didn’t celebrate at all. But I’m so glad I did.

It ended up being such a beautiful day (it miraculously didn’t rain, even though it poured the day before and after), surrounded by friends, dressed up for a whimsical, slightly Downton Abbey-inspired kind of afternoon.

A reminder it’s never too late to celebrate ✨
