"Within the density of central Athens, the exhibition becomes a space of withdrawal—a temporary shelter where visitors are invited to explore the symbiotic and continuous relationship we hold with the land, nature and the universe. Bodies, memories, and landscapes overlap, their boundaries and frames becoming less distinct, like forms glimpsed through an overcast sky."

- Curator Akis Kokkinos @akis.kokkinos

"In an Overcast Sky" presents new and recent paintings in an immersive setting shaped by movement, memory, and intimate geographies.

Dearest Akis, working with you has been one of the great joys of my career, I am humbled by your deep and thoughtful connection to the work. Your brilliance, is matched only, by your kindness.
@billmavrianos you are limitless - thank you - hoping this is the first of many with you both.

As the dust settles, the past month begins to reverberate in a different way.
Two new exhibitions, a new restaurant, countless conversations, long days and even longer nights, and so many people who helped us turn months of ideas, planning and hard work into something real.
A huge thank you to everyone who brought their knowledge, expertise, energy and humour to the Theocharakis Foundation. And especially for making these very long days exceptionally fun.
It’s been quite a month. Proud of what we’ve made happen, and even more excited about what’s ahead.
