Some post lands on your desk and you open it, smile, and move on. Some make you stop and reflect. This week, we received Chris’ card from @bima_hq_ (the British Interactive Media Association) 100 following his inclusion in the Class of 2026, and one line in particular really stood out:

'Your work has made a real impact.'

Simple words… But powerful ones. In business, it’s easy to get caught up in the numbers:

Revenue.
Leads.
Traffic.
Awards.
Growth.

And while all of those things matter, they’re not the whole story. Real impact looks different. It’s the client who tells you their business is thriving because of the work you’ve done together. It’s the apprentice who joins with potential and grows into a confident professional. It’s the team you build, the opportunities you create and the community you help strengthen.

At The DM Lab, we’ve always believed success should be measured by more than commercial performance alone. Yes, we’re proud of the campaigns, the growth, the innovation and the recognition. However, the thing that matters most is knowing that what we do genuinely helps people.

To be recognised by BIMA among just 99 other individuals helping shape the future of Britain’s digital industry was already an incredible honour. To receive this card, and that message, made it feel even more real.

A reminder that behind every strategy, every website, every campaign and every late night… there is impact. And that’s what makes the journey worthwhile.

I’m a BIMA 100 ‘Talent Under 30’ Winner!!!!

Massive thank you to @creativementornetwork for nominating me for this award.

I won’t lie, I’m currently entering the busiest summer of my life. It’s been overwhelming, stressful, tiring, and discombobulating, but this recognition came at the perfect time.

A reminder that it might actually be building towards something.

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO KEEPS ON SUPPORTING ME

Top 100 Digital Leaders in the UK. Top 10 in Strategy. Second year in a row🏆

Being named in the @bima_hq_ BIMA 100 Class of 2026 feels incredibly surreal, yet deeply validating.

The BIMA Awards aren’t just any recognition — they are the UK’s longest-standing and most prestigious national digital and tech awards, setting the gold standard for excellence since 1985.

To be selected from thousands of high-calibre nominees across the country as one of the 100 brilliant minds shaping the UK’s digital future is a massive honour. To be recognised specifically as one of the Top 10 in the ‘Strategists & Consultants’ category makes it even more special.

Making this list once was a huge milestone. Making it twice is the ultimate confirmation that consistency, rigorous work, and a clear vision pay off.

Building at the intersection of AI, product strategy, and talent in the UK. The work continues 🚀

What would growth mean without people — the people we teach, the people who inspire us, and the people who help shape who we become?

I’m truly honoured to be nominated for the BIMA100 Class of 2026 in the People and Talent category. This recognition means a great deal because it reflects the work I care deeply about: creating pathways, sharing knowledge, opening doors, and helping diverse talent thrive.

This nomination belongs to everyone who has shared their lessons with me, trusted me, challenged me, supported me, and taught me in return.

As a person of faith, I thank God for teaching me humility, love, respect, and service — values that continue to shape how I lead and how I support others.

A special thank you to my wife, Carol for her constant support; to my co-founder Martin Anncou, for believing in our vision; to Amma Frimpong, for your leadership and support; and to the teams at Eagle London Agency and Eagle Accra for your resilience, creativity, and commitment.

I’m also deeply grateful to our partner agencies, collaborators, and clients. This recognition is a reflection of the collective effort, belief, and energy we continue to build together.

To me, leadership is about opening doors, sharing knowledge, learning from others, and creating possibility. This nomination is a powerful reminder that when we invest in people, we build futures.

Thank you to BIMA for this honour, and congratulations to all the nominees.

She said yes to our maddest ideas.

Every. Single. Time.

And now she’s been recognised as one of the most influential people in UK digital.

@bima_hq_ 100 Class of 2026 🏆

We want to give a huge shout out to @lau.thorn, Director of Field Marketing, EMEA at @contentful.inc

She’s more than another client for us.

She’s the kind of person that makes our job genuinely brilliant.

You know those clients that trust you completely?

The ones that don’t ask for a safe option.

The ones that back your boldest ideas and then help you make them even better?

That’s Laura.

Every event we’ve built together has been next level.

And BIMA 100 recognised exactly what we already knew.

She’s one of the best.

SO, from everyone at Street Agency - this one’s SO well deserved 💛

We are so proud to work alongside you.

Congratulations 🎉
