Aged out.

Thank you for everyone who’s been there for and supported my journey with my home and my family. The Blue Devils and its staff, members, and alumni changed my life for the better. I’m grateful to be who I am today because of them, and though the final goodbye is bittersweet I am honored to take what I’ve been given and move forward confidently in life.

Thank you for everything.

I wish I could even begin to comprehend the amount of emotions that swirled through this ensembles head this year. I have never been a part of a more resilient and determined group of individuals who pushed through so many personal struggles to be a part of something every weekend.

Thank you to the design team for creating something that allowed me and everyone else to put a little piece of ourselves on the floor every time we performed it.

Thank you to the staff for instilling their trust in me from day one

And thank you to every person in this ensemble who I will gladly never forget for as long as I live, this is a familial bond and love I have never shared with this many stellar individuals before, staff and student alike.

I can very confidently look back on this season and this show as something I am proud of and something I will cherish for as long as I can remember it.

Saying “I love you all” feels like an understatement

It’s crazy to think no matter how much time you spend with people it never seems like enough. One moment you celebrating with your friends that all your hard work has paid off into making the snare line then the next you’re already saying goodbye.

While it may be the end of an incredible season, it will never be forgotten. All of the laughs, the cries, the ups and the downs, I wouldn’t want to change any of it because of the connections that I have built with new people and older connections that have been made stronger.

Let it be known to all those of you that shared our time, blood, sweat and tears on the floor, I thank you with all of my heart. You’ve truly made my life whether it was on the floor or not 100x better.
