Melbourne CBD’s hidden izakaya gem 🍢🏮 Such a vibe and surprisingly affordable!

Honestly thought it was going to be pricey, but pretty reasonable for an izakaya in the CBD!

Absolutely loved the atmosphere and the service was amazing too 🫶 Tonight was the perfect girls’ night 🥺✨

Must orders:
🍢 Assorted Skewers Platter ($55) – perfect for indecisive people! Comes with 8 skewers.
🥚 Chawanmushi – super silky and packed with chicken and fish, so rich and comforting.
🥓 Pork Belly & Asparagus – simple but so good.
🍚 Smoked Duck Claypot Rice – highly recommend! The duck was incredibly tender, and the moment they poured the soy sauce over it, the aroma was insane. Plus, I got my beloved crispy rice at the bottom 😭❤️
🐟 Miso Black Cod ($49) – a little pricey and not a huge portion, but definitely delicious.

Too lazy to choose? They also have a $99pp set menu.
And don’t miss Happy Hour from 4–6pm, Monday to Saturday, with selected items from just $9.9 🍻

Bincho Boss, a relaxed modern Japanese spot where Izakaya-style favorites meet refined technique. Under the guidance of multi-awarded chef Tomo Ishizuka, the dishes feel thoughtfully crafted, with many signatures cooked on their earthen konro grill over binchō-tan. That high-quality charcoal delivers an unparalleled depth of flavor and aroma, making the entire dining experience feel both authentic and elevated. #fyp #viral #izakaya #japanesecuisine #food

✨OVERALL: 9.2/10 ✨

VIBE: 3.7/5
FOOD: 4.9/5
SERVICE: 4/5

The vibe was bar style nothing too over the top. The service was great and the food was even better. We went at closing and the food tasted just as fresh as if you went when they first opened. The salmon tartare was a definite must order and something I crave to this day.
