My Bachelorette was definitely one of the best weekends of my life. To my girls,my girlssssss I love yal so much for making me feel so special and loved on this weekend. It felt better than my birthday lbs. Quick backstory🥹 Me and Roshi met in kindergarten back in 1997. This love was not only my longest love but my most in depth, this woman truly knows me inside and out and we truly sisters, my brothers and parents see that way too. Then Shykayla in about 6th grade, I knew yep, she’s gotta be my friend forever, hard to keep in touch but she was always someone I laughed with and felt so warm around. 2006 me and Kaleese connected in IB program, hanging out, her staying over at my house, and me visiting her at her & her granddad place on Cornell. And Tamiyah was girlfriend in high school too but the true connection started when she came back home from college, and she couldn’t keep me away from her house lol these two ladies always made me laugh, have the most intense but loving convos with and they endlessly poured into me when I wasn’t able to. And then came Benedict College 2010, now me and Jasmine met as college freshman roommates, little did I know I was actually suppose to be roomed with Joy lol but my first year away from home ever, I leaned on these ladies for love, college shenanigans lol, and constantly late night talks. Joy created a space for me to always be Shay lol even through tearing up her carpet to sleepovers in and out of our cities. Myrtle Beach is when I knew yes I need to be around this light all the time, truly brung me endless Joy. And to my Jasmine all of late night talks, laughing, tea time 🫖 with you me and your mommy. To my Bridesmaids, I love each and every one of you. I cherish you. I appreciate you. Thank you for always seeing the beauty in me. Thank you for kissing and comforting me when tears kept rolling. You ladies are my sisters. And now I get to share my most important day of my life with my sisters. 👯‍♀️ #BoatengBachGang

“A Brunch for MOM” 🌸💐❤️

What an incredible honor it was to serve, celebrate, and pour love into so many amazing mothers this Mother’s Day weekend. Thank you to every woman who allowed us the opportunity to speak life into you, uplift you, and acknowledge the sacrifices, strength, grace, and unconditional love you give daily.

A moment of appreciation, reflection, laughter, and celebration for the women who hold everything together behind the scenes. Mothers deserve flowers while they can still smell them and today, we made sure they felt seen.

To the ones who couldn’t make it & every mother, grandmother, bonus mom, auntie, and mother figure in the room… thank you for all that you do. Your presence alone shifted the atmosphere!!

Special thank you to The Retreat and @chef_sosa @_djmono for helping us create such a grand experience. Thank you to @myafricanpride @blackgirlpearls for the gift bags the mothers truly appreciated it!!

Pray with me.

Father God, today we come before You lifting up our family, our friends, followers and everyone connected to us. Before we ask You for anything, we thank You for everything! For provision seen and unseen, for protection, for grace, and for another opportunity to walk in purpose.

Lord, I pray for the person reading this who is in a season of uncertainty and searching for clarity. Release the weight they’ve been carrying. Lift burdens that were never meant for their shoulders. Remind them that a moment of struggle is not a permanent position, and that You are still writing their story.

Give them courage to persevere when answers feel delayed. Strength when faith feels tested. Peace in the waiting. Let them know they are not alone that seeds have already been planted, and what You promised will come to pass in its appointed time.

Remove the spirit of lack, fear, and doubt. Replace it with reassurance, gratitude, growth, and expectation. Shift their mindset from survival to abundance, from worry to trust.

May the days ahead be greater than the days behind us. As Your word says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5.

We thank You in advance for what You’ve already done on our behalf. We ask for forgiveness where we have fallen short. Let Your grace and mercy cover us all the days of our lives.

We lift Your mighty name, and we seal this prayer in faith. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen. - @kbotchey
