Funny how time flies…

This year stretched me, humbled me, sharpened me, and softened me in ways I didn’t know I needed. I learned how to stay when things got uncomfortable… and how to leave when staying cost me too much.

I showed up for myself in quiet ways. In routines. In consistency. In choosing growth even when no one was watching. I got stronger, not just in my body, but in my boundaries. I learned how to be present in moments that once would’ve passed me by.

I celebrated love in my friends finding it, choosing it, building it. I celebrated milestones such as new spaces, new work, new habits. I moved my body, fed myself better, brought my mom with me into strength. I laughed more. I rested when I needed to.

This year reminded me that progress doesn’t always look dramatic. Sometimes it looks like showing up again. Sometimes it looks like peace.

And as the year closes, I’m grateful for the lessons, the love, the growth, and the version of me that kept going.

2026 will be the strictest program I’ve ever run, but also the most intentional.

Cheers to becoming. 🥂

This is Fatoumata Balde. She is our Miss. Pad this year. 💜💜She is a senior studying political science. One fact about her is that her family originated from Conakry Guinea in West Africa which is one of her motivating factors for wanting to pursue immigration law in the future.
