Last week, the Crop Trust’s #PowerOfDiversity Funding Facility stakeholder consultations brought the spotlight on #OpportunityCrops in Kenya!

In collaboration with the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT and KALRO, over 40 stakeholders from across Kenya’s food systems came together to identify climate-resilient crops that nourish communities and empower farmers.

📌 The top contenders? Finger millet and amaranth—nutritious, adaptable, and full of promise.
