F O L K S Y . I’ve agreed to act as a Co-Captain along with @birdandmonkey over on @folksywales to bring you news etc from Welsh Folksy sellers, so I’m just reposting our first post from @folksywales. I hope you can join us over there and on our ‘Folksy Local Wales’ Facebook page as well. . Posted @withregram • @folksywales H e l l o a n d w e l c o m e . Welcome to @folksywales - a page dedicated to @folksyhq Welsh designers and makers. . To help Folksy, we’ve signed up to be your team Captains, so let’s briefly introduce ourselves… . Hi, I’m Sarah from @birdandmonkey your first Co-captain and I’m based in Wrexham, North Wales. A qualified Silversmith with an MA in Jewellery/metalwork which I use to create fun, modern custom jewellery just for you. I’m also the proud recipient of Dragon’s Den Theo Paphitis Small Business Sunday Award and my work has won the Cooksons Gold Design of the week twice. . Just to make matters confusing (or maybe a little easier 🤷🏻‍♀️) I’m also called Sarah and I’m from @sistersisterdesigns. Myself and my twin sister Catherine originally set up the brand (hence the name). I’m an illustrator and I love to turn my fun and quirky designs into handmade pins, hand painted ceramics, tea towels and now a jigsaw puzzle. I’m based on the Shropshire/Welsh borders. . We aim to share as many lovely things about our fellow Folksy makers as possible. . Please bear with us for the next few weeks, whilst we get our heads around what we’re doing! 🤪 . Please feel free to use #FolksyLocal and #FolksyLocalWales . Please also join us over on Facebook as ‘Folksy Local Wales’ . Don’t forget there’s still time to sign up to Folksy’s Local Christmas Market (link in bio) . #Folksy #FolksyShop #FolksyStore #FolksySeller #ILoveFolksy #FolksyFinds #FolksyHQ #Folksy #ShopSmall #ShopLocal #Wales #Cymru #Welsh #ShopHandmade #FolksyChristmasMarket #SupportHandmade
