Where do we even begin? 🥹❤️

We’ve spent the last few days trying to find the words to express what this weekend meant to us, and we’re not sure there will ever be enough.

First, you put your faith in a little romance bookstore in downtown Fairbanks. You welcomed us, supported us, and helped us build something so much bigger than a place to buy books.

Then we came to you with another dream.

A fantasy masquerade ball in the heart of Alaska. An evening where stories could leap off the pages, strangers could become friends, and we could escape reality for just a little while.

And once again, you believed in us.

And look what we did. Together. ✨

There were countless hours of planning, a few tears, plenty of laughter, moments when we wondered if we’d dreamed too big, and more love poured into this evening than we could ever explain.

But standing in that ballroom, looking around at all of you, we realized something.

The most beautiful part wasn’t what we had created. It was how many people came together to create it.

To our actors, director, performers, vendors, sponsors, authors, volunteers, staff, and everyone behind the scenes: THANK YOU. Your time, talents, creativity, and hearts made this dream a reality.

To Wander and Jenny, thank you for embracing our little corner of Alaska and becoming part of our story.

And to Fairbanks, our community, our people: thank you for believing that a little independent bookstore could do something big.

This was never just about beautiful gowns, elaborate masks, or dancing. It was about bringing people together and creating something our community could be proud of.

We hope you walked away feeling like you were part of something special.

Because you were. ❤️

The Ivy Ever After Ball may have started as our dream, but it became something that belonged to all of us.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We’ll never forget what we created together.

It’s been a little over 2 weeks since I got my lips done and I am so, so happy with the results. I didn’t know what a confidence boost it was going to give me. Waking up and not looking sick because my lips are the same color as my skin has been such a game changer. Alyssa’s space is so cute and she took her time helping me pick a color and explaining what to expect. Such an angel of a human being 🫶🏻 Now I can just throw some lipgloss on and go rather than having to reapply lipliner throughout the day.
