✨️⭕️ Workshop Info: Rubik's Hoop ⭕️✨️
Seen this workshop advertised and not sure what it entails? Here's a sneak peek!

Rubik's Hoop is one of my most popular workshops and is comprised of bendy (and faux-bendy - i.e., they look far more organ-rearranging than they actually are!) hoop tricks curated for those with an inclination for the odd and a desire to confuse their audience - and occasionally perhaps freak them out a wee bit. Expect quirky flex-based tricks, satisfying transitions, and stand out shapes with a contemporary flavour ✨️

Interested but don't feel bendy enough? Don't worry! Many of these moves look bendier than they actually are and we'll start with a thorough active flex warm up to help you safely get the most out of each shape. You'll be surprised how much you can do!

Still have questions? Drop me a DM 💌✨️

Upcoming Rubik's Hoop Workshops:
✨️@invertedaberdeen 26th Sep 2026 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
✨️@birdhousecircus 10th Oct 2026 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
✨️@rebel.circus.collective 7th/8th November 2026 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 (Rebel booking opens Mon 21st Sept)
See studio pages for booking, pricing, special offers, and full info 🧡

^ wish your studio was on this list? Tag them in the comments and I'll try to make it happen!

Thank you @freebird.aerial.pole and @aerialsicilianconvention for clips and photos used here from previous workshops - and for being such dreamy places to teach and wonderful people to wriggle around with 🙏💖✨️

Stormy Weather

Flash Mob Choreography for everyone!

Come and join us on Penarth Pier at 6 pm on Saturday 14th September.

‘Stormy Weather’ is being developed with Dance Blast Abergavenny, The Talent Shack,
Splatch Productions & The Dawnstalkers.
With dancers @charleswhite9999 & @kimfrancey

Choreographed by Jules Young, the dance is an ode to the sea and The Blues, inspired by the vintage atmosphere that still resonates in the landscape of the Esplanade.

Stormy Weather will be performed on Penarth Pier. Get into the groove and bring your dancing shoes x

Lovely and inspiring time today at the Community Consultation for Penarth Outdoor Arts Festival 2024 - to be held in Penarth in September, led by @splatch.splatch

It was a good turnout and with lots of interesting perspectives.

I'm very excited to have the chance to be involved with Bridging the Gap 😄

Especially as my times with the @dawnstalkers sea swims have been a big part of my Reclaiming Myself journey. The sea is a great part of feeling more free 🥰

Is it just me or does my first photo look like a painting?! Captured @esther_fuge in action at @nofit_state_circus community light festival #golauparclight in Splott, Cardiff. Where it all began for the internationally renowned company over 35 years ago...

How lucky are we to have events like this for free on our doorstep?! Alongside the aerial spectacle, there were club juggling, staff manipulation, and fire acts, accompanied by live music and singing - some from pros like my old drama school buddy @hannaholeary1979, some from community groups of adults and children. And there was lantern making, candle rolling, free hot drinks and cake (my toddler wanted a lollipop so got her mini roll on a stick - blinding creativity that saved the day!). Plus ambient lighting set up around the park trees and neighbouring houses to make everything magical.

Circus is more than the physical disciplines it contains. It can make us feel a part of something bigger than ourselves.
