➡️“Forever chemicals” refer to a group of synthetic substances known as per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). These chemicals are resistant to degradation and can persist in the environment and human body for extended periods.

✅Impact on Health:

1. ✅Endocrine Disruption: PFAS can interfere with hormone function, potentially leading to reproductive issues.

2. ✅Immune System Effects: Exposure may weaken the immune response, increasing susceptibility to diseases.

3. ✅Cancer Risk: Some studies link certain PFAS to an increased risk of kidney and testicular cancers.

4. ✅Cholesterol Levels: PFAS exposure has been associated with elevated cholesterol levels.

Want to support American ranchers?

BUY BAY AREA BEEF. 🇺🇸🥩

The U.S. recently announced plans to allow up to 300,000 metric tons of additional ground beef imports into the country over the next 90 days as part of an effort to address perceived high beef prices. Whatever your opinion on that decision, one thing remains true: knowing where your beef comes from matters. When you buy directly from a local rancher, you can:

🐄 Know your producer. Ask how the cattle were raised, what they were fed, and where your beef comes from.

🌱 Keep your dollars local. Your purchase directly supports a family ranch or local agricultural operation instead of sending that money through a long supply chain.

🤝 Build a stronger local food system. Supporting local producers helps preserve ranching and agriculture in our communities and gives consumers a more direct connection to the food on their table.

Know your rancher. Know your beef. Support local.

🍀Celiac disease is an autoimmune disorder triggered by gluten, but some individuals also worry about chemicals in food. Here’s a concise overview:

⤵️Chemicals and Celiac Disease

1. **Additives**: Certain preservatives and emulsifiers can potentially increase intestinal permeability, worsening symptoms.
2. **Pesticides**: Residues may lead to inflammation, although more research is needed.
3. **Artificial Ingredients**: Some may cause sensitivities, leading to gastrointestinal issues.
4. **Processed Gluten-Free Foods**: Often contain unhealthy additives that can impact overall health.

⤵️Recommendations

- **Prioritize Whole Foods**: Focus on fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and gluten-free grains.
- **Read Labels**: Check for gluten and harmful additives.
- **Consult a Dietitian**: Get personalized dietary advice to minimize exposure to chemicals.

⚠️Minimizing chemical exposure might help improve gut health alongside a strict gluten-free diet. If you have specific concerns, discussing them with a healthcare provider is advisable.⚠️
