Soft Side is out now, everywhere.

Ten songs recorded in New Jersey with @communityoflivingthings at @theanimalfarmnj, with @alanxday assisting and @birdman28 on drums, mastered by @kalajianofdoom, with artwork by @chrism.wilson and the package by @pinuz_one. It is the most us we have ever sounded, and we still can’t quite believe it’s yours now.

Link in bio, where you’ll also find the orange vinyl.

Small batch of Blood Orange and Palo Santo candles on the site

Finally able to get some candles done after a flood in my basement ruined some of my equipment.

Not sure what scents I’ll try for November.

Last January we left Rome for Flemington, New Jersey, and put these songs in the hands of @communityoflivingthings at @theanimalfarmnj, with @alanxday right there in the room and @birdman28 of @drugchurch on drums. They pushed us to be more physical and more honest at the same time: keep the hooks, but hit harder.

Soft Side is out October 9. Orange vinyl pre-order, link in bio.

New @feldsparhc song - “Family Man” out now! Last year, in a surprising intercontinental twist, I worked with a few overseas bands in a row. Among them was the incredible Feldspar - a power pop tinged band with some hardcore sensibilities straight from Rome. They brought such focus and openness to the time we spent crafting this thing. I got to bring on one of my best friends and favorite drummers @birdman28 to lock down the rhythm section with me and my Christmas compatriot @alanxday to help with the production and engineering. @beeblechris @steph_sound_ and @joseph.ravioli on the crucial assistance. This song is one of my favorites from the session. Produced, engineered, and mixed by me and mastered by @kalajianofdoom // “Daje!”
