Time to talk a bit about it: after my bodybuilding prep, I went through a veery long, tough phase where I didn’t allow myself to want to feel beautiful or challenge myself to improve my physique and appearance. I thought wanting that was shallow or wrong, but I’ve realized it’s natural and *actually healthy* to want to feel good in your body. The post-prep phase? Yeah, it’s a b*tch. You’re physically drained, mentally ungrounded, and it suddenly feels like your body is your worst enemy. And on top of it all, you expect to just “bounce back.” But here’s the a thought: Our society makes it so hard to find peace with our appearance. The pressure is even more real when you’re a bodybuilder. And the line between “caring” and “self-punishment” gets very thin and blurry. The real challenge is balance. You’re allowed to want to look good. it doesn’t mean you have to hate your body. You’re allowed to want change without making the way you look the problem. If you’re in that messy in-between, still figuring out how to care for yourself without spiraling, I see you. You don’t have to do it alone. 👉 *Want me to talk more about the post-prep phase, mindset, or finding that balance?* Drop a comment, DM me, or share your story. I’m listening. 💬❤️ #bodybuilding #prep #postprep
