Join me on Friday 24 April ‘…in a Pool Painted Black’, at this month’s V&A Friday Late: Lost Queer Venues

I’ll be showing new work in Room 25 of the iconic South Kensington museum for one night only, 6:30 to 9:30PM.
The exhibition will be accompanied by a special sound performance by Malou van der Veld at 8:45 PM.

As part of the programme of the evening I’ll also be in conversation with authors Amelia Abraham and Prishita Maheshwari-Aplin to celebrate Amelia’s new release ‘Sex, Clubs, Dissent’ and discuss the role of photography in queer nightlife.
The talk will take place in the Photography Centre, Room 98, 8:00-8:45 PM.

After years of growing my hair out, I've decided it's time to go back to my signature bob! As a child, I dreamed of having long hair, but my hair type just isn't suited for it. Instead of forcing it, I've chosen to focus on a style that complements my features and face structure.

I've come to realize that this mindset can be applied to all areas of life. We shouldn't feel pressured to fit into situations or environments that don't bring out the best in us. It's okay to acknowledge when something isn't working and make a change. This self-awareness is key to unlocking our full potential and discovering our strengths.

A huge thank you to @birty_b for truly understanding my vision and delivering a flawless cut! You're an exceptional professional, and I'm so grateful to have had the pleasure of working with you. And thank you to @radiohairsalon for welcoming me into your wonderful space - it's clear that knowledge and passion shine through in everything you do!
