It has been such a hard year for all of us in the Palisades and throughout Los Angeles after the fire. But on this Thanksgiving Day, I feel overwhelmingly grateful for all that we’ve accomplished together as a family.
I am beyond blessed to have a daughter like Bita and to be able to watch her pursue her dream education. I am blessed to share my life with a man I trust so deeply, someone I could walk through a tunnel with, eyes closed, knowing he will be waiting for me on the other side.
I am endlessly grateful for my best friend, Nasim, who has truly been a savior in my life, and to our wonderful staff who make every day easier with their dedication and hard work.
This year, more than any other, I have felt the true value of exchanging love with the people around us. And I am deeply thankful to all those who offered us kindness, support, and love after the fires.🙏🧡🙏#love

I had the pleasure of baking with @bitabellas yesterday to make our favorite choco cake. Believe it or not, this chocolate cake is different from the last. Why? Because instead of buttercream, the moist layers are filled with decadent chocolate mousse and topped off with chocolate ganache. In addition, we added a layer of brigadeiro over the cake layer which added a delicious chewy texture to the inside of the cake and allowed some of the sweetened condensed milk to sink into the cake below it. Tasty!
