Joining us for the next LATR showcase at Southey Brewing Co on Friday 20th November is James Hodder.

An Americana songwriter with a deft and charming turn of phrase, and with a warmth to his story telling that spills beyond his songs into the delightful performance he always delivers.

Join him, us, South of Polaris, Lyla Skyrim, and hosts Biting Fauna, for a joyous evening of storytelling and song.

An absolute pleasure to host and play a set at the very first LATR showcase at Southey Brewery in Penge.

While we were working out the barter system involved in trading email addresses for Biting Fauna badges, we enjoyed incredible sets from Citizen Penge, When The Daffodils Come, and Friction Farm, before washing down the evening with the obligatory pint of Lazy Jesus.

While the occasional refrain of ‘Fresh Fish’ is still ringing in our ears, we’re already excited to come back for the next showcase on Friday 20th November.

Huge thanks to Team Southey, Steve Ford on sound and technical duties, and everyone who came and listened.

The first LATR: Southey Showcase last night was a raging success with an incredible set of performances from Friction Farm / When The Daffodils Come / Citizen Penge, and hosts Biting Fauna.

Intimate, inspiring, and engaging stories and songs played to a sold out room.

Huge thanks to Team Southey and Steve Ford for running all things technical. It sounded sweet!

Next showcase: Friday 20th November. Artists announced very soon.

Thank you Penge! 🙏🏻
