' HER RECLAMATION '
•
•
A WOMAN IS NOT BORN TO BLEED IN SILENCE. 🔥
Every colour carries a wound. Every wound holds a story. And every silenced woman carries a storm the world has yet to reckon with.
This Navaratri, we refuse to romanticise her suffering or worship her strength while ignoring her pain. We name the violence, confront the injustice, and shatter the silence that protects her oppressors.
She is not your victim. She is your reckoning.

Six senses. Six sins. And far too many words we wanted to devour. 🩸

The Sixth Sin began as a celebration of six months of @her.obsidian.muse, but you turned it into something much darker.. desire, ruin, worship, hunger, surrender… all laid beautifully at our feet

A huge thank you to my collaborators who helped bring this little descent into sin to life.. for creating with me, reading with me, judging with me, and helping turn an idea into something beautifully unhinged. I truly couldn’t have done this without you. 🖤

After reading, rereading, debating, and being thoroughly corrupted, the verdict is finally in.

To everyone who entered: thank you. You didn’t simply answer the prompt. You confessed through it.
And to our winners.. congratulations.
You gave us something worth devouring.
Six senses. Six sins.

One delicious little reckoning. 🖤

First and foremost, I’d like to apologize for the delay. September has been challenging, so much so, a word came up we never want to hear. Went out and bought a Taylor guitar!! Ever hear a cat scream? 🐈😽Music is good for the soul and so is singing and writing!🙌🏼🥰🎶🎸🩷🌸 My daughter asked me not to sing publicly🤦‍♀️🎤 @kuku4.haiku

It is with great pleasure we announce the wonderful Senryu Winners and Honorable Writers. We asked you to go dark, clever, deep and poke fun at any human foibles, flaws, as well as applying that clever dark humor to this haiku family’s sleeping beauty! Thank you to our wonderful hosts @poemsforpause @meenu_lodha_writes and @a.m.poetry25. Dōmo arigatōgozaimasu.
🖤
We more than received some of the best senryu’s writtten by all of you - you clearly are mastering this one! We laughed and enjoyed every single one and love to see every writer growing exponentially weekly. You are making it harder and harder. Well done, everyone.
🖤
Congratulations to all the participants, supporters and friends of writers who so graciously spread the word and some jumped in (not surprisingly). Here is where you got to poke fun or get serious - there is no cutting word or season required in a Senryu.
