#tbt❤️ to OSO Gala April 18th 2026. ✨🎶

One of those nights that reminded us how lucky we are to make music in a city that shows up for the arts. Thanks for filling the hall, bringing the energy, and sharing the experience with us.

Portland, you're pretty great. ❤️

“Let it Snow!” from our Caroling Project visit to the @asianhealthservices center in SE Portland last week ❄️🎶🎻

Our musician-led Caroling Project visited 9 different community organizations during the holiday season, brining musical cheer to people who may not be able to visit the Schnitz for a concert. Thank you so much for all our partners and hosts, and see you next year! ❤️💚

A beautiful moment from our recent caroling performance at St. Mary’s Home for Boys in Beaverton 🎶🎄

The Musicians Caroling Project is a musician-led outreach initiative, in which players from the Oregon Symphony volunteer their time to visit community spaces and social service providers throughout greater Portland, each and every holiday season ❤️

Our final Classical rehearsal of the season is complete! It’s not every week we pack over 100 musicians on the stage and 60 singers into the choir loft 😳

We can’t wait to share Mahler’s Symphony No. 3 with our beloved Portland audiences this weekend. An epic finale to an epic 24-25 season!

It was an epic @chatterpdx morning of music by Penderecki (Clarinet Quartet w/ @jamestshields - not pictured due to schmoozing) and Beethoven’s op 74 ‘Harp’ quartet with these lovelies - @bitserpdx @margissimo and @trefitz - such a pleasure. And now I’m glad that my week of many chamber gigs is done! 🍻

Taking a moment to celebrate and honor the women of the Oregon Symphony 🤩

March is Women’s History Month, and it’s a great reminder for us to pause and recognize all the incredible contributions of our women musicians, staff, volunteers, and Board members. Without you all, there simply would be no Oregon Symphony 💜

Did you know❓

🎻 4 of our 5 string principals are women
🪈 2 of our 4 woodwind principals are women
🎶Our wonderful Associate Conductor Deanna Tham (@ookiwideeoo) is a woman
🎼ALL of our music librarians are women
📈 Women make up 44% of our orchestra roster
