I was lucky enough to win a giveaway that @bitter_grace was running for tickets to Selfcare Social and I decided to upgrade myself to VIP 💁🏼‍♀️

It’s a testament to the event that I didn’t take many videos because I was too busy enjoying myself and socialising.

@thatcontentchic_ and @ivyandlaceaus really outdid themselves and I’m already looking forward to their next offering.

Never let the fear of turning up somewhere alone stop you from doing something. You will regret missing out, trust me.

Can we take a moment for all the goodies I walked away with (captured at the end of the reel) Big thanks to all the businesses involved.

Kinda chic to start a little Instagram page and accidentally find a whole community 😎😍

I don't think I ever expected just how much connection would come from sharing our little adventures online 🥹

The DMs. The kindness. Meeting followers in real life and hearing "I follow you!" 🥰 The friendships that start through a screen and somehow turn into genuine friendships in real life.

I'm so thankful for all the beautiful connections we've made with other families, fellow creators and small businesses along the way. 🩷

Turns out this little page has given us so much more than somewhere to post photos and reels — it's given us a community. 🥹🫶🏽

And that's pretty damn chic 😎💅🏽

Ice Cream Man Premiere 🍦

If you've ever seen an Eli Roth film... you'll know he doesn't exactly do subtle. 😅🩸

I was warned about the gore... and yep, I still spent half the movie hiding behind my hands. 🤭

I'm pretty sure the whole cinema heard me:
🫣 Jumping at every jumpscare
🤣 Laughing at the comedy woven through the chaos. 🚗 And loudly talking to/warning the characters , especially about the windows lol, I was STRESSED.

The biggest lie I've ever told my kids is that when you hear the ice cream van music, it means he's sold out... and after watching this, I'm sleeping peacefully knowing I am safe, but the rest of you better watch out 😝🍦

If you're an Eli Roth fan and love over-the-top gore mixed with dark humour, you'll probably have a blast. Just don't go in expecting a sweet family movie because of the ice cream theme. 😂 I think I prefer thillers where I can't guess how its going to end 😅 hehe sorry @bitter_grace

🍦 Ice Cream Man
🎬 In cinemas 6 August
🩸 Rated R – High impact blood and gore and violence ⏱ Runtime: 87 minutes

Steel Magnolias 🩷 You'll laugh, cry, then laugh again. 🌸

I'd seen the movie before, and I was absolutely sobbing by the end, so I was excited to experience this iconic story live on stage, Tuesday 7th July.

The cast delivered a spectacular performance, perfectly balancing humour and heartbreak.

I absolutely loved Ouiser Boudreaux and Truvy Jones. The talent! 😍 They had the audience laughing throughout the show so much that my cheeks were sore.

A personal highlight for me was seeing @lisamccune_ perform live. I grew up watching Blue Heelers at my nanna's house, so seeing her on stage felt a little magical. It instantly brought back memories of sitting together and watching one of our favourite shows. It was one of those moments I really wished I could have shared with her. 💗

Congratulations to the entire cast and crew on such a heartfelt and touching production. A beautiful reminder of the strength of women and that we can get through anything as long as we have each other.

His Majesty's Theatre was the perfect setting, beautifully dressed in Blush & Bashful, of course, to celebrate the show and make the whole evening feel extra special.

If you're looking for a meaningful girls' night out or a special evening with your mum, sister or best friend, I highly recommend adding this one to your calendar.

Thanks Shania for coming as my plus one 😘

🌸 Steel Magnolias is playing at His Majesty's Theatre, Perth, from 7–18 July.

Thank you to Amber and Melissa @pretzelcommunications for the invitation to experience this beautiful production. 🤍

Taking a moment to appreciate nights like these!

Getting together with other creators at the @goodfeed_au event reminded me why I love being part of this space. 📸✨

Between the stunning views at @hqbarkitchen and the incredible food, it was the perfect night out. So proud to support such a great initiative.

Thanks for having me! Definitely adding this spot to my 'must return' list.
