THE FUTURE IS NOW

This was a couple of weeks after THE GREEN BOX THEORY dropped in 2025. At the time, ROC knew what the plans were but for the sake of the sit-down, he had to ask.

Although I never gave a definitive answer in this chat, I am referring to FRIDAY EDITION. So it’s insane to me that we’ve already gotten here and it’s out on NOV 6TH!!

It has always been part of the plan, everything I do, I try to do with as much intention as I possibly can. It’s how I am as a writer / artist and I’m constantly thinking years ahead, I can’t help it. There are some glorious stories that I’m extremely proud of coming your way on the first Friday of November.

*Edited* the lad who photographed the original unlicensed Irish soccer vintage t-shirt before he sold it isn't impressed with me for remaking the free to use design, which is understandable I guess. I did make it very clear via stories and on the website where I pulled the design from and who found it first. if you missed the stories that i posted here, the poll I ran about remaking it or not, the follow up posts i made about the original 1994 bootleg tee and where to buy the zine that he published AND the description on the website, check out scenes.nyc - they have a seriously tasty collection of bootlegs / unofficially licenced vintage soccer tees and their own branded stuff too!

P.s this tee is now sold out. Mainly by Americans which is mad considering the high shipping costs. It must have been the story posts from Scenes.nyc, Thanks lads 👏👏

INVESTING IN YOUR ART

The talk of costs is very important. Especially in this day and age amongst artists. This project was funded independently out of my own pocket. I believed in this story and this record so much that I was and still am willing to lose it all if it meant it was heard and presented in the way it needed to be presented.

To me, there’s no price tag on what this could mean to someone from Whitestown or Blanch or anyone growing up in a housing estate that can relate to the subjects on it and the sonic painting of this place. It was always way bigger than just me.
