I hear so many kids say they wanna catch the ball as a receiver. The irony is catching the ball is the easy part to the position, the main necessity is can u get open! QB cant throw you the ball if you clamped! Work the basics and keep getting better.

Some athletes just have that “It Factor”… Bj definitely has that and more! This young man is definitely the #1 Slot Receiver in the State of Illinois for the class of 2032. His route running and understanding of route concepts is second to nun at his age! High IQ and Super Legit Hands!

Defensively, Bj is locked in at Cornerback… He’s very twitchy which plays to his favor in “press man”… But he also possesses good speed that allows him to stay in phase with receivers.

Hawk Family, welcome back your Captain @bj_ijelu to the 12u Midwest Hawks! 🦅🪶

Kid is 12! All about technique and doing the right things at an early age. Him and his pops work very hard to make sure all goals are attainable! It’s no secret he produces the way he does on the field . Real Dog !📈

Supreme squad balled out in Indy last weekend. Grateful for incredible teammates and coaches. Faced off with teams from Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana. We battled our way to the semifinals.

I led a TD drive on every possession but one. And that one? That’s the fuel. We’ll be back better, hungrier, and ready next tourney. 💪🏈🔥

Today was a COLD HANDS DAY!! We train like this cause PLAYOFF Football is usually played in cold weather! To be elite and build legacy you have to PERFORM in these conditions! So train it early, it was roughly 10*F in the garage today so gloves on. Use the weather conditions to your benefit. 25 MPH on close range and 35MPH on motion catches.
CONSISTENCY BUILDS CONFIDENCE!!!!
