I was hooked right from the start!@kathrynsvoice nailed Kate’s deadpan delivery and dry wit. And all the extras, the chuckles, vocal nuances, layered voices, and subtle effects added so much personality and made the performance feel natural and immersive.

BLOODBORNE IS OUT NOW

For vampire lovers, and dark urban fantasy lovers right in the midst of October - what could be better?

The first Vampire walks the streets in all her glory. Kate Carter needs to figure out who's stirring trouble in her city, as figures from her past return to haunt her.

She’s reclusive, sweary, always up for a fight or a drink, and if you really need her? She’ll have your back. She won’t want to, but she’ll do it.

And ‘do it’ she certainly does…

Available on Audible now. Links in my stories/highlights.

BLOODBORNE: AUDIOBOOK COMING SOON

Kate’s getting thirsty and impatient. She’s been working hard (well, drinking hard) to get this story out and it’s almost ready.

If you like semi-sober vampires, angry leprechauns, dark fae, werewolves and more, you’re going to want to hear her story.

Is it gory? Yes, a bit. If you don’t like the occasional head being ripped off, maybe this isn’t for you.

Is it fun? Yes, a lot. If you like reluctant heroes, vengeful bad guys and a whole host of paranormals, get it in your ears.

BLOODBOURNE - A LITTLE BIT OF THE FAE

It’s time to share another snippet with you. All the recording is now complete, and Kate Carter’s audiobook is almost ready to be released into the world.

There are so many fun characters and creatures in the book, thanks to @bjones_author and Titania is definitely up there with one of my favourites.

Who doesn’t love a beautiful, dangerous, and n*ked fae queen?

Actually, Kate doesn’t. Not one bit.

CHEEKY LITTLE PREVIEW of Bloodborne which is coming very soon.

I committed yesterday to bringing you into my cave and I might as well start now. I’ve been having a great time being Kate Carter (check out Brandon’s post if you want to know more about her) so I thought I’d record a little excerpt from earlier on in the book for you.

I’m 80% through just now, so it won’t be long before Brandon has her in his ears, and not long after that for you, in perfect time for Spooky Season.

Enjoy!

AUDIOBOOK COMING THIS AUTUMN. Bloodborne is well on its way in production.

I’ll be sharing samples very soon, but for now I wanted to introduce the story and let you in on what it’s about.

A little tease as it were. A little glimpse into our reluctant hero, Kate Carter’s, world.

If you like dark fantasy, creatures and freaks galore, a little gore, a lot of humour, and a ride through London’s impossible underbelly, this might be for you.

Narrated by moi, written by Brandon, hopefully enjoyed by you.

A slightly chaotic yap for you. I have to remind myself that just because I'm doing a marketing course, and just because I narrate for a living it doesn't mean everything needs to be perfect all the time.

The things that need perfection, get perfection and the things which don't...maybe don't.

SO forgive my hand and arm position, forgive my hair that definitely needs a wash, forgive my flubby words, and wait just long enough to see the dog at the end. Hopefully this goes out before number 800 lands! 🎉
