Join Scandinavia House and Björk Café & Bistro (@bjorkcafe) on October 25 for a food demo and book talk by Nichole Accettola (@thatscandinavianlife), the chef behind San Francisco’s beloved @kantinesf, to celebrate the release of her book 𝘚𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘥𝘢𝘺! Recipes demonstrated from 𝘚𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘥𝘢𝘺 will include mung bean fritters with goat chese, harvest braise, and flødeboller (Danish meringue puffs).

In 𝘚𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘥𝘢𝘺: 𝘝𝘪𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘵, 𝘚𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘔𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘕𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘯 𝘌𝘶𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘦, chef and IACP award-winning author Nichole Accettola presents contemporary Scandinavian cooking as it is truly lived: uncomplicated, practical, and deeply connected to the rhythms of daily life. Drawing inspiration from the cuisines of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, the book offers bright, pared-back recipes made with whole grains, vegetables, and thoughtfully sourced meat and fish, all adapted for the American kitchen and grocery store.

Experience the heart of Scandinavian cooking, right on your doorstep — reserve your spot now at the link in our bio! 🥣

An intense few weeks capped off with hors d’oeuvres and champagne for 100 guests at the Challenge’s Annual Forum 🍾✨

From early breakfasts and high-speed lunches to late dinners and mingles—none of this happens without the incredible people around me. Pure passion, smiles, and non-stop hustle despite the long hours.

So grateful to be part of this team. Now, time to catch our breath for a second… before next week starts all over again 🧑‍🍳💨
