I’ll be honest, I didn’t know half of this when I started. I liked everything and thought I was being supportive. Then I realised most of the founders I love are doing everything on their own, hoping it lands. A send or a save can be the thing that gets their work in front of the right person. Sometimes it really doesn’t take much to calm your creative nervous system down when it’s in a chaotic period. It’s so common for a creative mind to feel fluffy, tangled or just kinda ‘offline’ If I get like this, I just leave the house. Walking Wednesdays.. whether that’s to see friends, or with the dog, I just try to reconnect with ‘real’ for a bit! Listen to the sounds.. watch the light (always). Yesterday even the bin shadows made me smile! If there’s one tiny thing you can do for a stuck mind it’s getting out of your own way and pay attention to something else for awhile. Try it.. you might like it? Jo x The habit of noticing / brand photographer yorkshire

Whether you like your coffee extra hot or with one shot, ristretto or lungo, you're in safe hands. Dialled in on the daily, our #houseespresso is the rich & toasty @bjornbeans Brown Ben, & we're indebted to @davidjamesonuk for helping us source our behemoth @sanremouk machine** *One click, pulled up the graph **V60 pour over incoming #huddersfieldsmallbusiness #kirkburton

Bjorn is a specialty coffee shop and roastery in Holmfirth. It combines a welcoming café with an award-winning micro-roastery. Tucked away by the river, it’s known for rotating single origins, expertly brewed espresso, and a relaxed atmosphere. Bjorn’s Mbare Natural from Rwanda, a Red Bourbon processed at Rwamatamu’s new Mbare washing station. Using an innovative 48-hour “pyramid” fermentation before drying, it develops layers of juicy fruit, boozy sweetness and funky complexity. 📍 Holmfirth, UK. ☕️ Flat White 🫘 Bjorn Speciality Coffee 💳 £3.85
