Funny story not

Hurt my back and could barely stand and move after sitting down.

Got onto @pursuitphysio_ and @jesssharratt got me in straight away (which she didn't have to but made the effort) @tyhelm
Is on a well deserved holiday.

24hrs hours later back in the gym with a set of prehab work prior to training and results are looking good. Paused squats and speed dead lifts done and dusted.

Great night at @strongbrisbane with all the whole gym supporting each other. It was great doing a log session with @ldbreen and @macca_1113 hitting some smooth numbers on stones!

3weeks out from @australias.strongest LDS Down @cocos_gym

Had @sarah_rainbow asking me "did you actually try because the last set I made it look hard." And the answer was yes 🤣🤣

STATIC MONSTERS WORLDWIDE CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026 🇦🇺🇺🇸

What a bloody experience.

This prep was far from ideal. I was sick, lost nearly 18kg, and then had the massive trip from Australia to Phoenix, which definitely didn’t help. Add the heat, dehydration and being absolutely exhausted, and it was a tough one.

To finish 6th in the Open Men’s category at the World Championships honestly means a lot to me. With everything that happened during prep, I’m incredibly grateful just to have been able to get on that platform and compete alongside some of the best in the world. 6th place is something I’m bloody proud of.

I hit 127.5kg on the Log, missing 135kg, and pulled 380kg on the Deadlift, missing 405kg.

Could I have done more? Absolutely. But I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity and proud that I was able to pull it together on the day.

Massive thank you to Protego Finance for sponsoring me and helping make this opportunity possible, and to BJ for coaching me through it all.

And a massive thank you to my wife Kendra for being there with me through the whole journey. You were my stand-in coach, relaying messages back and forward to BJ, keeping me on track and putting up with me through all the ups and downs. I honestly couldn’t have done this without you.

Extremely grateful to have represented Australia on the world stage once again. 🇦🇺
