Studio Practice Special Exhibition, Seoul Design Week Objects rarely begin fully resolved. They take shape through sketches and models, material experiments and prototypes—through making, testing and starting again. They emerge through sketches, models and prototypes, through making, testing and adjusting and starting again. 《Studio Practice》 brings together eight design studios based in Seoul, Tokyo, London, Bangkok, Paris and Hong Kong to explore what happens before an object is finished. Different in scale, materials and approach, they share an understanding of the studio as a place of experimentation rather than simply presentation. Here, ‘practice’ means both the work itself and the repetition through which it develops. From early sketches to material studies, the exhibition reveals the decisions, revisions and discoveries behind a final form. Look beyond the finished object and discover eight distinct approaches to thinking through making. 2026. 10.14(Wed) - 10. 25(Sun) DDP Design Lab JandiSarangbang (4F) Participating Designers John Tree @johntree_ Unknown, Untitled @unknown____untitled Jin Kuramoto Studio @jinkuramoto PONTI Design Studio @pontidesignstudiohk THINKK Studio @thinkkstudio Studio Seongil Choi @seongilchoii Studio PESI @studio_pesi BKID @bkid.co Curator｜ Bonkyu Song · Jungeun Lee Assistant Curator｜Hantol Graphic Design｜Sarok Jung Spatial Design｜Contributors·tnknmke Photo｜Unreal Studio Seoul Metropolitan City·Seoul Design Foundation #서울디자인위크 #SEOULDESIGNWEEK #서울디자인위크전시

KDM Plus ✕ SHARE X Workshop 2026 with Plus X + BKID + HEAZ - DESIGN KOREA 2026 Design Spectrum, Beyond borders Code Log Typology AX 11.25.-29. / COEX HALL B Design offers a way to read the times through the objects we make and use. This exhibition looks at contemporary Korean design through four lenses: Code, Log, Typology and AX. Code looks at the underlying grammar of design: the principles through which form and function are constructed. Log considers objects as records of everyday life, bringing together things that have remained in use over time with those that have been revisited and redesigned. Typology traces how familiar types are repeated, adapted and given new forms. AX turns to moments of change, where new technologies and approaches are reshaping how design is conceived, made and experienced. Together, these four perspectives offer a cross-section of Korean design today. They are not fixed categories, but overlapping ways of looking at a field shaped by different generations, disciplines and ways of making. Through their intersections and differences, the exhibition connects what Korean design has inherited, where it stands today, and where it might go next. - DESIGN KOREA 2026 Design Spectrum, Beyond Borders Code Log Typology AX 11.25.-29. 이번 전시는 Code(문법), Log(기록), Typology(유형), AX(전환)라는 네 가지 키워드로 오늘의 한국 디자인을 편집합니다.

Writing as movement, drawing as gesture. “Write Draw Think” transforms simple pencils into instruments that change how hands and minds connect. Each form encourages a different mark, a different rhythm, a new way to engage with the page. Functional yet sculptural, the tools make the act of writing feel intentional and present. ✨ 📐@bkid.co #objectdesign #experimentaltools #designobject #moderncraft #sculpturaldesign
